We are having a heat wave! 90 degrees yesterday, so we again had a picnic supper at the lake. Got home around 8:30. I'm tired. Today I stayed late in my classroom because I wanted to switch out bulletin boards and rearrange furniture. My incredible, fantastic, wonderful son came over after school got out and helped me. Very nice to have a tall guy helping. I told him he should put volunteering in a high school classroom on his resume. He said someone would read it and ask, your Mom's a teacher?
Greetings Tous le Monde
No weight today but I think I have lost about 10 pounds out my nose. Thinking I might need to see the doctor as this cold may have morphed into a sinus infection. Spent most of the day napping and watching horrible news programs.
We have unseasonal rain here so I am not surprised Shirley has rain in SF. Good thing Alcatraz is mostly indoors but I bet its cold!
Yay DianeO on the salon deals. Being a good customer pays off.
Liz these days with your DH must be rough. I bet this transition will be much tougher on you than on your DH that I predict will do fine. Maybe plan a lot of self care things for those first few weeks.
My DH and I ran a mission of mercy today - helping a friend with a broken iPad. DH is a wizard with this stuff. Unlike me.
BB thinking of you. Sadly loss is a big part of life.
Well the clothes won't fold themselves.
Still contemplating the health club but I think I will do it when I shake this cold.
Peace all. Diane S
