It's actually the bladder, not the kidneys. If it were the kidneys, I'd be in a panic. Dialysis would be a great deal more harrowing than self catheterization!

Bonnie Happy Birthday, and good healing wishes. You're not being selfish, you have well thought reasons for removing implants and fine tuning your other surgery.

Peps, it's kind of like being an empty nester, you'll miss your clients, but it's time for them to fly. And then you feel almost unsettled by your sudden free time. But you embrace it pretty darn fast, and finally wonder how you ever did it in the first place!

Liz, I cannot imagine what emotions await you in October, but you will handle it as you have everything so far, with good information, planning, heart and an amazing amount of grace, and no doubt, hard earned wisdom.

Oh and Peps, $75 seems a bargain for good jeans. Think of the cost per wearing. We can all justify spending $$ on dress clothes that we wear infrequently. A good pair of jeans could end up being pennies per wear over time.
