Up showered and shaved. Extra walk to get to the scales. Pre-op knee surgery 270. 2 days post op 274.8. Today 264.8. I knew I have been getting up to the bathroom a lot. 262 is my 100 lbs loss mark. It bothered me to regain any but really bothered me to regain past the 100 lbs milestone marker. I have not focused on weight reduction as much as I should. It is happening because of pain levels.
Adalyn is jabbering more. Especially in the morning when she wakes up. She comes in the shop yelling Helwhoa . Runs back to me and crawls into her spot. Does not stay long then she is off to her wheels.
DW is a champ she is a great nurse. I don't know other other old people do it without our skills. I owe her big time.

God bless Dr. Tittle of Diablo Valley Endodontic Specialists! Root canal on tooth #4 is complete. He wants to wait and see on tooth #5. He says there is more than a 50% chance it, too, will need a root canal, but he wants to let it try to heal on its own. I'm all for that.
I LOVE medical stuff and was fascinated by the info I got today regarding nerve death in teeth. Most likely yesterday's intense nerve pain was the release of toxins as the nerve and root gave up the ghost. There was nothing really alive inside the tooth when he excavated, which is probably why I had virtually no pain radiating through my jaw this morning. He is pretty sure we caught it before the root became infected. As he said, "You're in the eye of the hurricane. The nerve is dead. It's quiet. The next stage is infection and that can get brutal." So, no antibiotics for me, unless I start feeling a throbbing around the tooth.
All the water I drank yesterday to keep the tooth calm paid off. I'm down a pound to 263. But, I did get up to pee 3 times last night, which has not happened since I started taking the Finasteride for the BHP. Hey, I'll take the loss either way.
No food yet today. I'm feeling like I should be able to eat in a bit when the numbness goes away. I'm supposed to take 600 mg Advil 3-4 times per day for the next two days. Not so much for pain, but to keep the inflammation down. I think I will try 400 mg first. I'm leery of taking too much. Don't want sleeve issues, too!
Well, like a crazy teacher, I'm off to school to teach the afternoon. You'd think I would take the whole day off, but we teachers are insane about time off (except for dog shows, of course!).
Later, gators!
Evening All, just back from dinner. We went to Bubba Gump- oh my! the serves are huge. Brought half home.

I love Disneyland! And was very lucky to grow up one town over so we went a lot when I was a kid. They used to let law enforcement people in for free (when you used to pay an entrance fee and then bought tickets to use for each ride. It's where the term "E-ticket ride" comes from. Those were for the rollercoasters). My mom was a probation officer so we'd go frequently for lunch, the parade, and a few rides then go home.
So glad you're having fun! It's a much more fun place when you don't have to worry what you weigh! Happy Anniversary!
