Oh, man! Honestly, we were both scared to death -- but it was incredibly right, and somehow we both knew it.
I have to say that my dear husband's proposal (complete with diamond ring) was the best example of Brene Brown's "power of vulnerability" I have ever, ever seen. What courage he had to risk that. And ditto my leap into his arms and toward the life we wanted to create together.
I really don't think it ever gets better than that.

Liz, the food looks wonderful.
Keeping myself busy trying to get things done ahead of time. Working on mowers. Mowed the yard with a mower that is too small. Can't get the BadBoy started. Moved the chicken tractor. Only one chicken in it. I think a fox grabbed one of the hens. Installed an antenna for DW to watch PBS. Still cleaning at the shop.
Eating is maybe up a little. Wt is 270. Down 4 from about a month ago. I lost a couple more but it bounced back up.
i have had a couple of weeks with pretty good mood. Fighting it a bit today. I have not had any ibuprofen in a while. Pain has not been controlled. Maybe that is the reason.

Hey Ann, love your two date story. Your DH new a prize when he saw one. Good judgement. And also on your part. My DH and I (and all his junk) are going on 24 years.
Ocean Diane glad you got the therapist you want. maybe some put up the sign "not accepting new patients" so they can be picky. I had to get on a waiting list for mine but worth it.
Getting ready for next weeks trip. Well sort of. I bought one dress then lost it for awhile in the garage. I hate dress up. Need to shop more.
My younger brother now has medical problems. Not sure what it is exactly yet but sounds not good. Wish I had Shel to ask about meds. Crap crap crap.
Met a man from our homeless group at the health food deli today. I felt sad that he had a really modest meal selected for take out. A nice guy who is not crazy or addicted like many homeless.
Scrabble today and I got wholluped . But I won one game. Nice folks.
