Good day to all-

Deep thoughts abound in this place. Truly a never ending story, and maybe it needs to be so... Seeds are planted underground and in darkness in necessary order to strive and push up towards to light.

I have been convalescing the last few days... had an appointment about some recurring pain in right knee (scoped out about 13 years ago or more). Found out that a re-scope is a procedure with diminishing returns- that the pain is not an indication of things falling apart --just progressive arthritis-- I can't use NASIDS for relief - so - it's basically "suck it up buttercup" until such time as Knee replacement will yield a benefit greater than the "cost" of the surgery. Which brings me to the convalescent situation. Received a shot-o-synthetic cox comb (pain relief to be had in a few weeks when the stuff kicks in), and woke up the next morning with a completely frozen and exceedingly painful knee. A side effect known as pseudo-septic arthritis. I have very little mobility and squeak every time I move the knee. No redness or fever n the knee (thus-pseudo). I'm giving it till Monday to calm down- otherwise off to the Dr. for aspiration and other gruesome assaults to poor knee. Go figure.

Thinking of you, David!

Got home Wednesday night and have been tending to business ever since.

I just caught up on everyone's posts since last Friday, and I'll post much more full-throatedly tomorrow morning.

As with all travel, it's good to go. It's even better to come home.

xoxoxo

Ann

P.S. It's been raining off and on since I get home. For the last four-five years, our Augusts have been cooler than they were for the ten plus years before that. Apparently, the grass here no longer goes dormant in August. And you know what that means.
