I think Michigan is being blessed with good weather this August. It couldn't be more beautiful or comfortable temp wise if it tried!

I'm still eating too much. It has to stop. I wish we came equipped with an off switch.

Not much else to report, I just wanted to give everyone a place to pop in for the day!

I'm good with eating habits until about 8 pm, then all bets are off. But speaking of good things to eat, I got the egg white/roasted pepper sous vide egg bites at Starbucks. They were great! Filling and only 170 calories. Not cheap, but a good choice when out and needing breakfast.

I am meeting a high school friend for lunch today probably at an outdoor restaurant. We too have had gorgeous weather. A little hot and humid previously but we have had lots of sun and perfect beach breezes. Right now I am sitting on DD's memorial bench on the harbor and it is perfect out (picture of my view from the beach below). Have a fun Friday!

We too are in a beautiful weather cycle. After the cold June, and rainy start to summer, I'm savoring it.

There is an Irish Fair in St. Paul this weekend. We will go this evening as a sort of appetizer for our trip next week. :)

Thinking about tomorrow and the memorial service for Shel.

It rained here last night. We needed it but very humid today. Cucumbers are doing very well. Tomato vines are good and we have tomatoes but I think they are too shaded by the cucumber forest. Waiting on them to turn red. Been watching recovery videos for total knee replacement. I hope it will be worth it. Eating has been good today. Weight is not budging. Cleaning the shop. Easily distracted. Adalyn came and said PopPop about 5 times in a row. It made me smile so big my face hurt.
