Greetings Precious Ones

159 today. Gotta face that music. Also time for a little introspection and listening to Brene Brown. Really I just want to go back to bed and watch tv but my usual tv news channels are a horror show. We need to find some fluffy silly movie to watch tonight

Peps looks like you are having fun with Jonesy. go for it.

Great looking pickle recipes. Cecily if I were you I would go to that food school. Sounds fun. I did find some cold cucumber soup recipes with gy and such. Looked good.

Well, thats all I got. My brother's memorial won't be until end of September so no rushing to travel.

Good Morning All

Have already started work from the Unit but wanted to pop in.

Mum is enjoying her week away for her birthday. I have been working 6.30 till 2.30pm each day and then I take her out. She is on a walker now and tends to just sit most of the day so I am slowly getting her exercising again - she struggles a lot with her breathing but as they say baby steps. We have been to Cobram (little town we are staying) on Monday - found lots of treasures at the OP Shop. Then yesterday we went to a big olive oil place - my goodness I could have gone mad but only left with 2 bottles of oil (parmesan & onion & wild garlic) plus a lemon and lime tangy dressing. Being a foodie, I tasted all the dukkahs, different oils and dressings. We then headed into Yarrawonga for a look through the shops. I walked into one of the op shops and saw these shoes! Immediately thought of Shel and her DH's pimply boots so I had to take a picture to share. She is never far from my thoughts - so heres to you darling Shel x And no I didnt buy them as I think the likelyhood of me breaking an ankle would be high if I even attempted to walk in them

Hugs to you all - its been a very hard couple of weeks with painful loss, progression and upcoming surgeries. You are all in my thoughts
