Oh Shel. I will miss you.

Shel was love and light. And inspiring and dignified and selfless.

I will so greatly miss her humor and intelligence and wisdom and adventurousness. And her presence here without fail for us. I ALWAYS looked forward to her take on things. I just don't know what to say.

Now cracks a noble heart. Goodnight sweet princess, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

You made me believe in innate goodness, and that the soul is indomitable. I never met you in real life, yet you became my friend, and I will always be the better for it.

My prayers continue for your family, especially your beloved daughter.

Shel25 I will miss you. I too never met you in real life. Your energy touched me. Both of us are from Iowa. Both of us went to Africa in the 70s. Both of us love African grey parrots. Both of us worked in health related field. Both of us were over 350. Both of us had VSG. And both of us were part of a tribe struggling to get our head around ideal body weight. Your hiking adventures inspire me. Your photography show what inspired you. Your thoughts on this forum were always welcomed. I will forever be challenged by the bar you set.
