Daily Eats 7-22-19
I'm going to catch up from the weekend. Fessing up to the eats. Definitely not "diety" but today is a new day. This is life.
Friday, 7-19
B: chocolate zucchini muffin, coffee, chocolate no bake cookie (ugh I remember now)
L: leftover chicken pesto pasta
D: My parents took us out to dinner and I split with my sister. Piece of rosemary focaccia, French 75 ****tail, bite of calamari app, split the pink grouper with saffron butter sauce with my sister (OMG so good. I'm not usually a fish person especially at a nice restaurant--hey, we're in landlocked Oklahoma!--but this was to-die for), asparagus with tomatoes and radishes, mushroom risotto, and a couple sips of brandy ice for dessert. Definitely an indulgent dinner.
Saturday, 7-20
B: half crossaintwich, coffee
L: 1/2-3/4 peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a few chips
My stomach began hurting. I think I had some crackers and a coke.
D: 1/2 grilled hamburger and homemade French fries
Sunday, 7/21
Brunch: 1/2 piece French toast (large piece), 1 scrambled egg, 1/4 piece ham, most of the cheesy potatoes
Dinner: Had my parents over: chicken spaghetti (from freezer), pea coleslaw, berry cobbler with ice cream--and sent them away with all the leftovers
Thanks for starting the daily eats. I've been logging in myfitnesspal, but my eating has been off the rails since Friday. Time to face the music. Yesterday:
Breakfast: yoghurt with strawberries, blueberries and granola. I bought the granola for parfaits for our company on Friday. I can't stay out of it, so the remaining granola went down the garbage disposal Sunday morning. (Nobody else really likes it at our house)
Lunch: green salad with tomatoes, bacon, cucumbers and blue cheese dressing
Dinner: pre theater on charming patio. Gnocchi with vegetables in some kind of insanely good butter sauce, side salad with vinaigrette dressing, and a white sangria
Snacks: peanut butter cookie, McDonald's ice cream
Calories: did my best to estimate restaurant food, 1,678
Dog show eats were sporadic, but WAY better with Goat and my kitchen set up.
B- some type of cheese croissant
L - 1 bite of Ron's polish dog
Snack - 1 slice ham, banana, handful of mini nutter butter cookies
We left the dog show and traveled east to the Columbia River Gorge.
Dinner - Filet mignon (made on the mini charcoal grill), Caesar salad, and mashed potatoes.
I ate the salad, half the steak and a few forkfuls of potatoes. Ron happily finished my potatoes. LOL!
