Daily Calorie Composition: 32% from carbs, 26% from fat and 42% from protein.

There is a ginger snap in there somewhere. I got a hold of some leaf lard, true blackstrap molasses, neighbors farm eggs, and using soft, Dixie Lily flour, made what is as close to true to the original tasting cookies from recipe handed down generations on DH's side of the family.

I remember my mother saying one time when baking an old family cookie, "same recipe, different cookie." The natural composition of foods does change over time.

Anyways, these were wonderful!

 TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal!  BMI from 55.6  supermorbidly obese to 23.6  normal!!!!

Smart mother. And her wisdom seems to apply to a lot more things than cookies. :)

Lunch: Paloma (tequila and grapefruit juice), 1/2 of an incredible cheeseburger, 2 fries

Dinner: the other half of the cheeseburger

Snack: chobani yogurt with Chi's
