Good idea with the tee-shirt! I hate when they have to wear cones - they always seem so miserable.

Happy, Happy Birthday, Shel!!!!!! So glad you and DD got out for coffee. Independence is good. My mom insisted on flying across the country for Thanksgiving while she was living with pancreatic cancer. It was wonderful for her. I remember not seeing it that way at the time, but I now know it was just what she needed.

Love the pic of Buster. He is such a soulful boy. I'm sure he's being a dutiful mama's boy!

Much love!

Shel, am just catching up here this morning after a long day in The Big City.

I had NO idea it was your birthday. So I'm sending belated happy birthday greetings and hugs to extend your birthday for one more day, sweetheart.

SO glad to hear you went out for coffee with your daughter. Because going out, your daughter, and COFFEE!

I love you!

Here way late - its been one of those days.......

Youngest Son had his first car accident. Messaged me with pictures - his way of telling me - boys!. Thankful no-one was hurt - Cars are just a hunk of metal and can be repaired. He drives a big 4WD so has Bumper damage but the girl he rear ended - her car is a write off. Hes going to text her later to check in on her. Im proud of him for caring. I finally convinced him that I needed to take him to the Dr to be checked out. Hes doing ok but will see how he fares tommorrow. Have dropped off pain meds etc

Another bump in the journey of parenthood. Onto helping him with $$$ for the excess on his insurance so he can get everything repaired

Thankful everyone is ok - thats all that matters

Love to you all and I will pop back later and read/respond. Working late to make up for the time I took off with DS

Yes, metal doesn't matter. I'm so glad they are okay. I think all my kids had some sort of accident/fender bender in the first few driving years, but thankfully they were unhurt too.
