Still have trouble wrapping my mind about our opposite seasons. LOL!

Which leads me to ask: What is the traditional school year in Australia? From when to when?

Yeah its funny to see all of you type about being bothered by heat/humidity and flies etc - Im looking out over frost covered paddocks and the dam had ice this morning. Im coming to CA for the heat :) Not a winter person at all

Over here in Australia - each state has slightly different start dates and finishes but it follows a basic pattern of 4 terms. Its currently Term 2 holidays for all the Primary School Kids in Victoria

Term 1 - Jan 30th (always super hot still) till 5th April

Term 2 - 23 April - 28th June

Term 3 - 15th July - 20th September

Term 4 - 7th Oct - 20th December

I kind of like that schedule. I could manage it quite well!

Vets just left - my instincts proved correct. Poor little boy has pneumonia - It was starting to resolve but he now has a long acting antibiotics and anti inflam onboard. Will make him feel a whole lot better.
