Fun and frolicking Friday to one and all!
I'm guessing because of my reduced carb intake my mood is lightening. Maybe it's the pink fluffy could of sugar detox! LOL!
Weight is down to 262. My breakfast yesterday held me all day until after my cardio workout. After the workout I had a protein shake and then we ate late once Ron got back from Sonoma.
We are gradually taking over the orchestration of cleaning out the the house. Ron's sisters are so busy and emotionally charged that nothing is getting done - even though they insist on being in charge. They made a big mistake by promising to be out of the house by the 15th of July. Both Ron and I were emphatic about keeping the rent paid up until August 1st, but oh, no, "...we can get it all done by the 15th!" Well, nothing is ready, the sisters are bickering, vacations are upcoming and there are too many chiefs. The landlord has a new tenant moving in on July 16th. With that reality, the girls are letting Ron, me and Matt (another Brother in Law) start taking over.
Clean up and shopping on the docket for today. Party for 25+ dog club people tomorrow afternoon.
Have a training session at 11:30, then will get on with the cleaning and shopping. This is workout #4 for this week, which means my personal goal for the week has been met. I want to keep to a schedule of 4 workouts per week.
Yesterday's fun included a pedicure. Haven't had one in at least a year.
Self care included eating well, exercise, and getting my annual eye exam done and new glasses ordered. I ordered fun and somewhat trendy glasses - even though they reminded me of the glasses a serial killer character wore on Criminal Minds! LOL.
Self indulgence for yesterday was splurging on prescription sunglasses. Oh, lord, what was I thinking????
The best thing I ever did when my mother moved out of her home of 40 years, at her apartment when she died, and at our home of 20 years when we moved was hire someone to take whatever I didn't want. I removed the stuff I wanted to keep (or set it aside), then they came and removed whatever remained (including trash, etc). These people usually sell some, donate some, and trash the rest. Afterwards I hired cleaners to come in. BEST MONEY EVER SPENT!

Little bit of mowing and sawmilling today. Eating is better.
The plants in the raised beds are growing so fast that you can see a difference from morning til night. I have over planted the seeds but I will prune as needed. I do not have wire in the top but I plan to. I need a few more 2 x 4s out of cedar. I have the log. LOL.
DD passed her math class for nursing school. She struggled with it and took it again this summer. She is so happy it is behind her.
