Trying to keep everything in my brain
Diane S.-boy you stay busy for retirement!! What'd you think about debates? Only watched second night which goes against my self-imposed restriction on politics anymore. My two observations: too early/too many candidates, and predictable. Although I guess that's the truth about any primary.
Diane O.-where are you headed in RV this time?
Peps-so glad you're feeling good with me! I too find that if I eat as I'd like, snacking makes up 50% of my calories. And I don't really see that as a problem except in the practical aspect of "how" and "what" I eat when I snack. Personally, I grab snacks (don't eat sitting down) and they're almost ALWAYS carbs. Not sure how to change that. Maybe embrace it? I'm loving the accountability of waking up to tell you guys...so maybe I'm a people pleaser too ;)
David-Poor Becca has ear troubles too. Remind me, did Adalynn have tubes in her ears? We go to Dr. today to follow up on infection and if it's still there I think she'll be referred to ENT...probably for ear tubes. Oh I know I'm super duper lucky to have good sleepers! LIfe is so much brighter with good sleep!
Shel-I was just thinking about you! What beautiful photos you always post.
Liz-Hugs. You sure are taking on a lot. Have you made any decisions about DH memory care? Florida or Mass? Very sorry to hear about SIL
Weight continues to drop. Yay! Yesterday I walked just over 6,000 steps. I'm happy it was over 5000!
On tap for today is Becca's appointment, then I'm hoping to get to grocery store before weekend craziness. Really looking forward to date night this evening--steak dinner and then Singin' in the Rain on stage. I procrastinated buying tickets and sometimes that pays off. I got 3rd row! Undoubtedly someone had turned back in their tickets because the rest of that entire section was sold out.
DS had lots of ear infections from 9 months to about 3 years old. Though the next step was tubes, he was able to be managed on antibiotics and outgrew the problem ultimately.

Hot and humid here also. At last. Today starts off with an hour and a half drive to attend my nephew's mother in law's funeral. I'll be home around 3 pm. I'll see what's up after that. Making more apple crisp will not be on the list of activities.

Greetings Friday Fun People
No weight today. Didn't want to shed my warm chenille robe even for a moment. The fog rolled in and its cool and cloudy. Love the summers here.
DianeO enjoy the FROG event. Looks like fun. Hope DC is doing well. Yep, sometimes you have to leave the dogs behind.
Big news, our nephew texted that he has been looking into WLS and VSG and wanted information from us. He has been obese his entire adult life and we have feared for his health. Glad he is checking it out. Referred to UCLA. Anybody know about their program?
Gallery duty today. Its until 6 pm which I always hate. The other one closes at 5. No one comes in to speak of between 5 and 6 and we hardly sell anything in that last hour. Must take toys.
Painter is nearing the end. He stayed and watched part of the debates with us. He is a hoot. A friend for years.
Hey Cecily, have fun on the vintage Cris Craft. Flies be gone!
Liz, hope the evening plans go ok. Have fun.
Dave hoping Adalyn feels better soon. Its so unfair that little babies get so many colds and such. I was thinking about your raised beds and Cecily's as well. Is there wire covering the top? Would birds get in to eat berries? Seems like the birds are a big pest for berries here. Ditto slugs.
Hey Shel, so a slug fried a high speed train in Japan. I think that's funny but sorry for those who were inconvenienced - particularly the slug.
And yeah Shel that so called trail looks like an obstacle course for American Ninja Warriors like the ridiculous tv show. I am told my 4 year old nephew likes to pretend to do that in the living room. Get a good nap in.
Not much else. Time to forage for more coffee. Cheers.
