Like BB, I'm feeling pretty darn good today.

Food intake was well thought out and planned yesterday.

Had a 40+ minute glutes and ab session at the gym. We have a new machine there that isolates the glutes like nothing I have ever tried before. I'm certain that by this evening my butt is going to be scolding me for abuse! Also, if anyone wants a shoulder friendly way of working abs, check out the Ab-Dolly. It's an update on an ab wheel roller and is a real asset to an ab strengthening regimen.

On the schedule today is grooming an Irish Terrier and going to the optometrist for my annual exam. I have had the same glasses for two years, too, so I think it's time for a new pair, whether I need a new prescription or not. I also need to get some more cleaning and furniture stored and out of the way before our party on Saturday.

Have a great day, my friends.

I have a book on my bedside table entitled Finding Joy in Every Moment. It's an eclectic selection of quotes. This one is asking to be shared:

Greetings Awesome People

Still at 158. Not good. I don't feel like I eat that badly though looking at the daily munch thread I realize that I used to decline every bad bite religiously. Now I do not. It all adds up. Like death by 1000 cuts only its 1000 m and m's.

Yesterday seemed busy only because I had people in my face all day with meetings, painter, DH, friend over to watch debates because she doesn't get many channels. I dozed through the last 30 min.Today is more banking and studio visits. Gallery duty tomorrow afternoon. The sun is out - much to the chagrin of the painter who will arrive soon. For his sake hope it clouds over. Our area is supposed to be one of the foggiest places in the country and supposedly the airport was built here during WW2 to train pilots so they could fly out of foggy England.

BB so glad you have chill kids. Some poor parents get collicky kids that scream non stop. I knew a woman who went to a support group for mothers with really fussy babies. You are blessed. And good for you for getting out and about with the tots. Concert sounds fun.

Lizz sorry DD acted up at day care. What a tightrope you walk daily. You are so courageous. Wishing you a great summer.

Cecily so sorry Fergy is so sick. Its unbearable to see a pet uncomfortable. At least the nasty flies are on the way out. Wishing comfort to you and Fergie. Hug time.

DD thanks for the quote. So true.

Sitting here enjoying the bird chips, wind in the leaves and the delightful sounds of the garbage truck. Now if only I could get DH to fill up that entire truck!

New glasses are in order Peps and for me too. I hate what I have even if mine are not old. Whats in fashion these days?

Dave, have fun sawing logs! LOL

Time for more coffee. Diane S

I'm reflecting on the beauty of nature today. Shel's photographs from her many hikes are always so breathtaking and inspiring. My reflections are on my "hike" around the neighborhood and from my deck.

BB, You have been very lucky in the babies sleeping through the night department. Adalyn is 18 months and has finally been regularly sleeping all night long.

Brother and his grandson came up from south AR to run the sawmill. We had a good day. They spent 1 night and went back home.

Eating and activity have been off today. I'll try again tomorrow. I did get a new motor mounted on one of the shop tools. Mostly crawling around on my knees. Not good.
