So I googled pet washing stations and found pictures like this. Isn't this cool???

I am sitting on my patio on the final Aruba morning drinking iced coffee and getting ready to take a last beach walk. I am mostly packed so I don't have much to do before I leave in about 4 hours. I am ready to go but I will miss the relaxation and the people here. I land in Boston around 6:45, then take a bus to Cape Cod. With luck I am at my home by 9:45 or so.

Here is the sand sculpture my friend did yesterday: Knocking on Heaven's Door

Have a full Friday!

That dog station is THE COOLEST! The sand sculpture is pretty great too. Hope it's an easy trip home!

Liz, Safe travels.

Got tags, drivers license, paid sales tax. Ouch. $1900.

DD has bronchitis. Adalyn doesn't feel well but it has not given her bronchitis yet.

So humid today. Sweat just walking across the yard. It feels like it will rain. Maybe I will mow until it rains.

More later, David

Greetings Busy People

158 today. Gallery yesterday was just busy enough to keep me from walking in circles. At least the local parking restrictions make me walk a ways. Shrimp and half ear of corn again last night. Need something new for tonight. Its sunny here but quite windy so not sure if the painter will work on the deck today.

Liz you are probably on the plane by now. So glad you had your Aruba days. You so deserved the vacation. Great sculpture.

And nice looking dog was station. But I will take mine to the groomers. Border terriers don't need baths much unless they roll in horse poo but fortunately horses do not pass through our yard.

Today did not start well. First, the half and half was spoiled. Forced to make cafe au lait with skim milk. Then DH came home from a stealth hardware store trip with yet more tools to occupy the living room. Where is the junk-picker-upper when you need it? Thats what I will be doing today since I too am guilty of junk.

Cecily your garden sounds wonderful. Take a picture of the weed free garden - you know they come back! LOL

Dave sorry Adalyn and DW are sick. Extra hard in the hot humid weather when hot chicken soup is not appealing.

Diane O, wishing you a mud break. Although we have little mud in our yard, Tesla will find the tiniest bit and track it in. I keep old sheets over the sectional most of the time.

Time to make some eggs and get busy. Retired life sure is fun. Diane S

We travel with toaster, coffee maker, and kitchen tool holder in the sink. Gardens are progressing. Chicken wire going around each base tomorrow. We'll return the area under the stairs for digging. There is a local dog wash that provides rubber aprons and spray and dry wands for $6 for 7 minutes. There is a ramp up to the tub. Clean and roomy, but not as sweet as the one Liz posted. Unless it is an emergency, I'd rather go to our groomer. Sangria definitely not aligned with my goals. Ice cream for dessert.

Great looking tile DianeO. And the fencing looks like a way to keep dogs out from under the raised beds. Chicken wire or hog wire would be good. Sometimes you can put a sort of bent up run of chicken wire in places you don't want the dogs. They don't like to step on it - though some dogs are oblivious. Yep, we have a dog wash place near here too that you can do it yourself. Never used it.

Todays soapbox: I hate robot calls. Bet we have had at least 6 this morning and DH has multiple gadgets to suppress them.!!!!
