I love the Rainier cherries, too, but they are pricy (though all cherries are pricy!). I'm not a snob about my cherries either, as long as they taste good. I love fresh cherries. They are such a treat this time of year. Our season is almost over here.

Come to Michigan! Cherries everywhere. #1 tart cherry producer in the country.

Love Cherries :) We always pick lots when its the season and bottle them, stew them, make them into sauce. Eat them fresh. Delicious

I need to encourage my SIL to eat more pizza. She is eating so little it is no surprise that she is getting so thin. She looked pretty good in that picture but she is scarily skinny in a bathing suit.

Rain, rain, rain. Lake Michigan's water level is so high (record level), people who's cottages are really close to the water and low-lying are getting flooded, septic systems are not working, and land is being undermined and eroding into the lake. We drove around today and entire roads are under water. We sit up high no so no danger of flooding, but I feel bad for those who's homes are not raised up. The last time the water was this high, houses fell into the lake and house movers were inundated with business to lift cottages up and moved them back on the lots. I can only imagine what the skeeters will be like when it warms up with all this standing water!

The rain stopped long enough to clean out some lavender that got killed off in the cold winter. Not sure if it will come back at all, but it's worth a try.

I think I'll go work out as at least that's indoors.

This is Tucker. He is my school "wife's" new puppy. We all need a "puppy" this fine Father's Day! I hope Tucker does the trick for us all! (Stop drooling Ceci!)

Good Morning All - Apologises for being AWOL this weekend. It was a front yard blitz at the city house to finally make some good headway with our front garden and retaining walls. We have moved tonnes of rocks and dirt but its finally taking shape. My son who lives with us helped both days and my other son came for a little while Saturday too. Many hands make light work. One more terraced area to clean out and position the rocks. They weigh over 50lbs and are a shocker too move. Some pics below. Was feeling my age over the weekend.

Didnt hope on the scales this am. Will do tomm. Avoidance as I have been feeling just bloated n yuk of late

Happy Fathers Day to all - we celebrate in September. Funny how things can be so different between countrys huh

I will go back and catch up on everyones posts soon. Work has been insanely busy as our clients rush to spend unallocated budgets before the end of financial year. Very hectic but happily so

Take care all
