She was meaner when she was younger if you can believe it. We think she's gotten nicer in the last few years. Her kids say the only reason they are normal, functioning adults is "tens of thousands of dollars of therapy"!
One would hope! But your theory is a good one. My grandmother (her mother) has early onset Alzheimer's and she went from not terribly nice to mean as a snake with it.
