And I'm telling you, old-fashioned work is one of maintainers' best tools. Even my mowing burns up tons 'o calories.

Hanging on by a thread here :) students take finals Wednesday and Thursday, Friday is workshop day, then put a bow on it, and call it done, the 2018/2019 academic year is fini! Whoop, whoop.

Like DD, I'm hanging in there. 3 more wake ups before summer break! Eating is not great, but I have to say that's historically sort of par for the course the last weeks of school. I wish I did not love sweets as much as I do. My teaching partner is pretty adverse to sugar. I sort of envy her aversion to sugar. She is one of those rare people who lost 50 pounds she gained during her first years at college and has kept it off for about 14 years.

Ann, I second that adulting is complicated at any age. I realize I am getting better and better at it as I grow older and give less of a damn about other people's opinions than when I was younger. I have even been able to adult my way through the family dynamics of MIL's death. I've been participating on my own terms and being supportive of Ron, but have been able to tell him without ill feeling that he may not take his feelings out on me, but I'm certainly here to help him by listening and wading through his feels together.

Tomorrow's count down surprise is a 3rd grade kickball game. I'm looking forward to that. Room 5 vs. Room 6. Go Allengators! LOL!

Hey, forgot to tell you that the other day I was in line at Costco and a lovely woman (such a beautiful smile had she) behind me in the line asked if I posted on line. I said yes and asked which site. She said quietly the obesity maintenance site. She recognized my face from some of my pics. That was kind of fun, but of course I looked immediately in my cart to see if I had any crap food in my cart. I had Skinny Girl Coconut thin cookies. Ugh... But that was the worst I had, so I realized.... eh.... in the greater scheme of things, that ain't so bad! LOL!
