Bonnie, I cannot express how delightful I'm finding all your equanimity these days (of course, with the exception of the threat of bad tornadoes). The movers story reads like a scene from a Tina Fey movie. LOL!

Greetings Intrepid Ones
No weight today but dinner was light. No eating regrets from yesterday.
Yow DianeO, so love your raised beds and lovely yard. Don't blame you for wanting to block neighbor ugly. Plant some shrubs or vines to hide junk. We are lucky to have privacy fence. We are the junk, not our neighbors. Yay for you being industrious.
BB love the description of the furniture moving. Ever see the Laurel and Hardy movie about moving a piano? Same deal. Glad you got it done in good humor. OOOOOH baby could come at any moment! Any predictions?
Shel I thought I had a band aid arsenal but you really got it going on. Never heard of rock tape or zen toes. Wish they made "zen fingers". Looking forward to more hike reports.
Hey I listened to the Brene ted talk. Most excellent. Puts stuff into a framework that makes sense.
We went to the pop up museum yesterday with our small town's history and it was quite nice. More extensive than expected. Our little dinky town is trying to create a City Center on this pasture in the middle of town but no one can agree on what to do. Town is not incorporated so there is no city government.
So today I will venture out and try to drive. I think it will be ok. Only one spot is a significant wound and I will pad it up. Getting sick of being home.
Liz glad you made it home safe. Yucky plane trip but anymore aren't they all. Glad DH has day care there. Hope things are going well for SIL.
My older brother is still in rehab but should get out Thursday. Its been at least a month. He will be glad to be home but hope he takes it easy. He has poor balance and is a fall risk and their house is frightfully junky.
Got a great pot pie from the health food deli last night. One pie divided in half was more than enough for us. Loads of beef. We will be doing a lot of deli food for awhile.
Take care all. Nameste. Diane S
Cecily, everybody's getting off on Brene! Thank you for introducing her to us. :)

Good Morning - Time to make time to post. Have been in a bit of a funk and avoiding weighing - of which I ended this morning. Up to 178.8 :( but know its due to all the bad habits I have let take over since my surgery and lack of movement. Onwards and upwards
Im pleased to say all stitches are out and I have been cleared to fly - timely as I leave for Malaysia and Singapore with my best friend this Saturday for a week. The operation has been a success and I am in a much better place physically. It was worth all the pain, being still (in my head that still computes as lazy :( - go figure.....
I got up at 5am to purposely go back and catch up - and WOW our group has faced some challenges whilst I was wallowing
Liz - Welcome back to Cape Cod, sorry the flight was so hard. Moreso Im sending you all love and strength as your SIL battles cancer. Its a dreadful disease. Hoping Paul settles into the new memory care place and you can get a little time for yourself. Its very important
Cec - Huge hug to both you and Ferg. Its a very hard road to travel as our fur babies struggle. Hope you can take some comfort in knowing that you are doing everything you can for him and he feels loved. Thanks for the recommendation re Brene - I watched her over the weekend and it was very eye opening. I plan to watch some more
Diane S - sending you healing for your hands - I missed what you had done but hope its been a success and you are home potting in no time
Diane O - You have been busy I see - the raised beds look great and enjoyed seeing picture of your RV trip. Wonderful news about you visiting your daughter in Vancouver. Something special to look forward too
Peps - Glad to hear your back is healing. And congratulations on your Motor Home purchase - she? looks a beauty as we say down under. I hope you, Ron and all the puppies have many special adventures over the holiday break
Ann - Great to see you are healing from your eye surgery and its been a success. You are such a busy bee too - I could picture your property by reading your posts and it brought a smile to my face. Nothing like land and the treasures and serenity it brings
Shel - Wonderful to hear you out on practice hikes - when is Mt Ranier? Must be getting close. I am in awe of your strength and drive. You are so positive
BB - Thinking of you as you enter the final stages before you welcome you little lady into your family. Love reading about your time spent as a family and making memories. How long to go now?
Diamond - Hope its a little warmer today - we are heading into winter here and Im so not ready
Paula - good to see you post - things are busy for you but in a wonderful way. Good luck with the move and blending of the families
Well I best go start work. Have a ton of things to get done before I fly out on Saturday. I will be better at posting now I have faced the scales. Isnt it silly that knowing you have put weight on - makes you just travel a road of total avoidance....... In my mind if I didnt post - I didnt own it - doesnt make it any less real. And you feel it in your clothes..... Sigh
Love to you all and big aussie hug - Ive missed you all
Shirley
Good to hear your voice, Shirl! So happy you've healed so well. Have a GREAT trip with your friend.
