Greetings Dear Ones

157 today. Busy prepping for our trek to Marin County tomorrow in the all electric car Buzz the Bolt. We have all the charge stations scoped out and DH has figured out the route. Sure hoping all the charge stations are in good order and not stacked full of people. First stop is the Benbow Inn which is a really cool old inn that movie stars used to hide out at. They have good food so maybe we can get a bit while the car charges. Next charge stop is at Walmart - much less fashionable We really wouldn't have to stop at Benbow except the next stop is just a little on the edge of range. 225 miles. You can extend range by driving 55 and not running AC or heater but phooey on that. House sitter comes at 10 and we are off!

Liz so feeling for you. A truly terrible situation to have to face and be the main grown up with SIL situation on top of all. Good for you for finding stuff to keep busy. Hoping your travel goes well.

Cecily glad to hear Fergus still likes his ball game. Hug him for all of us.

Its late and I am still getting the house ready and packing. DH has written a virtual novella of instructions on dog feeding and house information. So that's about all for now. It will probably rain all the way down the 101 tomorrow. rats. But some good food in the near future. Diane S
