DD, thanks for the Avengers movie review. I've seen some but not ALL the previous Avengers' movies and heard others' good reviews of this one. I've put a one o'clock matinee on today's schedule.
Woke up just before 3am and weighed then, so the scales yesterday weren't lying. Three more pounds to go.
My landsmen got TONS done yesterday, but didn't finish all the mowing. They had thought they could fini**** up in a couple of hours. Ha! No way! I resisted walking out there and telling them they were doing some of the mowing patterns wrong, so I get points for that. Still, I could get used to sitting on my deck with a glass of wine watching someone else mow (once I got them fully trained). :)
It rained again last night with more predicted most of today. April's showers are still hanging out here.
Devon, I know what you'll be doing today ... playing with your new RV. That indeed was a great price for a great deal. I'm curious ... what year and model is that Bounder and how long is it? I want to look up the floor plan online.
Today's theme: Let's make it a lovely day! Listen here.

Lots of mowing and laundry yesterday ! PEPS, you'll love spreading out your stuff in that spacious interior !! I'll bet your basement is to die for too ! Ann, you are doing great ! What a role model !! I absolutely agree about the rotating lawn patterns! Admire the restraint ! Liz, it sounds like DSL's news was not good, from your FB post. Miss Bonnie, it sounds like you are feeling those great feels!! Shel, I want your GPS info too ! We should practice with you on one of your next hikes ! Teachers.... The end is in sight !! Shirl, keep recovering ! BB, loved your driving range FB post !
I missed a manicure appointment just before we left, and was supposed to schedule a hair appointment then. My stylist is so busy that once my smooth cycle is broken, it takes forever to get back in with her. I'm on her cancellation list, for something earlier than mid-June. While my nails are undone, I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to get my raised beds ready for planting and painted. I thought I wanted to leave the wood natural, but our garden area looks like an unfinished project. Lots of painting on board today ! We have this next week home, before we go RVing at Keuka Lake State Park for a Sunday- Friday. I'll get more of the back yard reseeded just before we leave, giving new growth a break from galloping paws.

DSD is here and we hopefully can have a good escape day.
SIL doesn't have full news, but they told her she definitely has advanced lung cancer which has metastasized to her heart. Surgery is not an option. They cancelled the PET scan as they said there was "no need" for it. She is supposed to meet with an oncologist next (hopefully next week but they didn't call with the appointment yet). Apparently it is the oncologist role to deliver more detail like specific prognosis and treatment (which I would guess would be mostly palliative).
So not good, but SIL still doesn't really want to tell people until she knows exactly what it means. My FB post was partially a reaction to SIL's news, but also because of the loss of eldest DD to cancer and many others who have gone too soon because of it.
Have a soul searching Saturday.
