Ron said, "Where are you going?" My reply: "I don't want to tell you." Well, I fessed up and I was right... he shook his head, but I think he understands because he refrained from negative comment. I occasionally have to remind him that up until a few years ago he was the vainest man I knew. He wouldn't get out of my car without first brushing his hair!

Anne, Torani Sugar Free Syrups are the nectar of the gods. I order it from Amazon, 4 large bottles every other month. If artificial sweeteners are killing me, than so be it. I love my lattes made with Fairlife Milk and my Torani syrup. I also use it to sweeten Greek yogurt and I use it instead of sugar when I make the occasional pumpkin custard.

I use the pumpkin pie recipe on the back of the Libby's pumpkin can, except instead of sugar, I substitute torani syrup and I use LOTS of pumpkin pie spice. I pour into a dish, and bake it until it doesn't jiggle in the middle when I shake it. Because of the sweetener being liquid it has a different texture than pumpkin pie, but I like it. It's also best eaten after it's been chilled for awhile.

I feel like a new person. I've slept and slept and slept. Everything seems possible today. Today we are meeting friends to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch, followed by dinner. My friend and I met in high school, and through 40 years we've gone to college, met our respective husbands, raised our babies, buried our loved ones... It's lovely to be with people when the shared history is so rich. From the moment we sit down to dinner we laugh and talk non stop. Then tomorrow we travel to Duluth, Minnesota, to attend my Auntie's memorial service. As her son says, she passed peacefully after a beautiful life. Amen.

Hey Ann, there is a web site for SelectCBD which is made in Portland. Thats what I got at this store. You might check it out. My neighbor has a teenage daughter that has seizures and it helps her. Diane S

Good Morning All - back in our city house by dinnertime yesterday. Boys unpacked the car and we got pizza for dinner. I sat around then lay to watch TV and promptly fell asleep. DH woke me to tuck me into bed around 10pm. Planning a quiet day - just pottering. DH and DS will go collect some rocks around 3pm for the front garden.

Im about to get the wood fire going - lit it last night when we got home as it was cold ! Always much warmer up at the farm. The cows and calves are happily munching their way through the long grass in one side of the front of our property. The Fencing is done for now. DH re-did the tape electric fencing with 2 more runs so that it is calf height and they wont be tempted to go to the other side..... Thats the theory - we shall see. SIL will go there every couple of days and check them all for us. We are back up Friday

DH had a great Anzac Day - and made the paper. See Pic - hes the one smiling looking down without his hat on- the mates hes marching with hes known since Army Reserves when they where 18. We are going back to the RSL (returned services league club) next Saturday as they are re-opening it after it has been extensively refurbished. As part of this, families have been able to buy a brick to be laid into the front wall showing their loved ones service. I told DH I wanted to do it for him - hes not one for attention nor fuss but I felt strongly after nearly 30 years of service. Guess who won ! My pull was it was our future generations to be able to share in his service and sacrifice and should be honoured. Im organising it next Saturday. Once laid I will ask the whole family to come up to the club for lunch - should be nice. He deserves it - I have been awake from 3.30am again after being woken by him having yet another bad dream. I woke him from this one but then couldnt get back to sleep myself. I see a nap on my horizon...

Have a wonderful day all
