What's the saying, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."? That's sort of how I'm feeling today. LOL! Start off the day with good intentions, but seem to get derailed pretty quickly. Today's derailment - a call from the yard man telling me my sliding glass door was "cracking" (English is his second language and he was flustered). While he swears it was that way when they arrived, I have a sneaking suspicion that the lawn mower hit a rock and it went flying. Auntie Kathryn went to put Ella away for me and sent pics. There is an obvious point of impact. Oh well, he's a great kid and **** happens.... I would have liked him to take responsibility, but maybe his helper who was mowing the lawn fibbed. Who knows... Not worth losing sleep over. It's only money.... LOL! And he's a good yard man!
My inner critic is working so hard to come to the surface. My father's words are ringing in my ears today. He used to say, "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all." Well, I'm not finding much nice to say about my stuff, so I'm just going to say - Bon weekend, everyone!
141.2, weight twinsies with Ann again.
Long day at work. We are down 2 workers (they jumped ship) and super busy! I'm glad when the day is done.
Looking forward to the weekend. Kevin is working a bunch of extra too, 2 of the 4 supervisors are also out at his work so that means lots of extra hours, night shifts and only 1 weekend off a month which doesn't start until he gets off at 9:30 tonight. No Friday night date for us.
Piled high in getting things ready for buying the new house. And trying to figure out whose stuff will go into the new house and what gets sold, thrown out or given to kids that are flying the nest!
Love to you all!
So much life being created! Decluttering is such hard work, but it's also therapeutic.
I hope y'all can have a Saturday night date. :)

Greetings Fellow Maintainers
No weight today. Had to rush off to get the gallery open to be ready for the no sales whatsoever morning. Lovely day so door left open.
Then I went to this local hippie store and bought a new purse made out of hemp. It's purple. The size and shape is the attraction - not too deep so no purse mining. Ann I bet you don't have a hemp purse. They had quite a selection. Also got some CBD oil as a sleep aid.
After a quick studio visit I went to the grocery outlet store to buy things for the homeless outreach event tomorrow. You never know what they will have so I enjoy poking around looking for protein and healthy things that are portable. Ditto bananas. Ended up with tuna pouches and face wipes. Plus a protein shake for myself.
Paula glad the house plans are in full swing. When we moved I had a standing appointment with the Disabled Vets as they would take most anything and were glad for it.
Bacon and tomatoes for dinner tonight. Perfect spring dinner. Cheers all. DianeS
No, I do not have a hemp purse. :) And it does sound lovely. :)
