Good Morning - Popping in after a rough day with pain yesterday. Who knew a coughing fit would hurt so much.... Had a much better sleep last night and feeling more human.

We are planning to go to the farm tonight when DH gets home from work. Pain pills on board for the 3.5 hour trip up. Will be there for a week so that will be nice.

Weight 176.66 - coming down but still have a swollen belly etc so not really fussing on this at present. Eating well and focusing on healing

Diane - Great picture of you and your daughter - shining eyes :) Warms my heart. I did the quiz and Im an obliger - no surprises there.

Liz - Hope all goes well with SIL leaving today and that you can get some time to yourself

Ann - You are inspiring with your focus - thank you

BB- Counting down till you are a mum for the second time. Such a special time :)

Peps - Hope Ellas breeding goes well and sorry to hear the sad news about their son. A life cut short too soon

Hello to all who follow.

Im off to watch some more Netflix - This resting thing is alien to me indeed but I am comforming. Have watched both seasons of the Crown and a couple of movies thus far. Will pack slowly during the day for the farm. Banned from most lifting so need to rely on DH or DS (who left to return to his fathers house for the week this morning)

So having a higher protein day today to see how that feels. The Sun is shining and it reached 70, so I suspect I could be eating stone soup and still be happy! 5 days ago we were in the middle of a blizzard!

Great picture, Diane!

Today I opted out of my morning hike for sleep (loved it). Then got a lot of phone calls made to move appointments around. I got an earlier appointment with the endocrinologist for Thursday because I feel like my thyroid lump has grown and want her to tell me that's normal and will go away when I finally get around to the radiation treatment. I just didn't want to go the whole summer worrying about it needlessly. Then I went to the hematologist and all was well there. He's going to keep me on my thinners a few extra months until I get back from Michigan then take me off and do some more testing. Better to wait and go off them here than in the middle of medical nowhere!

Tomorrow is trainer and Pilates and talking to Ferg's vet about his generic Rimadyl dosage. I don't think it's high enough and he's limping more than with the Previcox and more restless at night...

I did okay with food today. Not perfect, but better.
