For me maintenance is only around 1300 unfortunately, so I don't have a lot to play with.

Greetings Fine People

Out the door early today (for me) and forgot to weigh. I will think about that tomorrow. At least I have some healthy stuff around.

Had an egg McMuffin attack so I got one. Made a nice filling lunch. I have been eating some bread and crackers lately after years of virtually no bread. Its nice stuff.

Did some studio time today. The studio has been offered a donation of a bunch of glass fusing equipment and materials. We would have to add another location to accommodate it but it could be a good thing.

After a dry day the rain has now started.

Bad news - got a call from my older brother who has been struggling with an inoperable brain tumor for several years. Another lesion has shown up in another location. This place is operable so he will have brain surgery in 10 days. He is upbeat and optimistic but I don't think he appreciates the implications. We shall see. Think good thoughts.

More shrimp and veggies tonight. I drank more wine last night than I should have after the conversations with both brothers and SIL. Must cool it.

Liz as an outside observer it appears to me Paul is progressing fairly rapidly. So its good you are looking at options. What a hard time. Glad you have such a nice family.

Shirley do you have a calf yet?

Peps, have a slug day. I am going to email you a talking slug.

Rest up Diamond. Naps are good.

Hey all! Today was "run around like a chicken without a head picking up the house because the cleaning people are coming and you don't want them to know you're a slob" Day. Then therapy, then I ate lunch out by myself (I never do that - fear of judgment - but it was fine, had delicious spicy pho chicken soup) then to the movies all while avoiding the cleaning people.

Now to walk the dog. Nothing planned tonight!

Peps, you're a rebel weighing in like a savage - midday, clothed, fed, watered, in public?! Go you!

Liz, congrats to being on the wagon!

What movie did you see?

The Aftermath with Keira Knightley and Alexander Skarsgard. She moves with her British military husband to post-war Berlin as he is tasked with stabilizing the area and they take over a German man's home (he and his daughter move into the attic). She and the German guy (Skarsgard) fall for each other. I liked it. Critics didn't but movie goers liked it.
