Good Morning All - Flying in - been up with the sparrows as they say. Been over to SIL's in the dark - the wonders of headlamps to do the final run of chores. Cleaned out our fridge and the chooks and ducks are the lucky recipients - when they get out of bed that is.
Have hosed off my mini and popped away in the shed as I am taking the farm ute down - towing another HUGE trailer down to city as we will collect the farm ploughs we bought on Sat. Then I will bring them up to the farm. DH is going Clay Target Shooting with his son Sun - so he will stay at their place Sat night. One way to get over a fear is to face it at every opportunity. Least thats my theory with my fear of towing. Its 3.5 hours down to the city and will be 3 hrs+ to bring ploughs back - wish me luck!
Had a wonderful visit with our niece yesterday afternoon. She is a true gem. I sent dinner home with her. It was a hit. Creamy Chicken,Bacon and Vegetable pie, green salad & Blackberry n Raspberry Pudding for dessert. BIL text me at 6.30am to say it was yummy which was nice - pic below
Busy day getting ready to leave. Last cow is close but no calf overnight. I guarantee she will calf while Im in Melbourne over the next few days. Have my nephew coming to feed them and check on them. I should be back early afternoon Saturday. Hopefully there is another cute black face greeting me
Weight - is as expected 175.56 - not going down but then I am not eating as well as I should so ......
Have a wonderful afternoon/evening all

I am deeply, profoundly tired, and I am clueless as to why. As long as I'm sleeping at night, I've pretty much decided to give my body what it seems to be craving~ a nap. So not getting much done the past few days .... eating whole foods is getting back on track. Maybe my fatigue is my soul mourning the lack of key lime pie?
It is hard to return from warm sunshine! Your hibernation genes are reactivating !

Welcome back, Ann! Smiles and howdy to all!
Devon, when I see a picture- of you- I see- you, Devon.- my friend, whom I esteem and admire on so many levels- inside, outside, all of it. Therein lies the difference between casual passerby's judging game and friends loving. When you look at your pictures, look through the eyes of a friend--be a friend and supporter of self--and THAT--for me is what self care is all about- with the gift of hope thrown in for good measure.
