10:30 am on the east coast and all is quiet here still! Today the SILs and I are going to the show Million $ Quartet with 12 other women, with lunch out prior. A friend is taking DH out to lunch and hanging around with him this afternoon until we get back. It is warm and sunny here, a really beautiful day.

Visiting SIL goes home Monday and I need to buckle down on eating beginning that day. NO MORE OSTRICHING!!!!

My 3rd surgiversary was Thursday. I forgot because I didn't want to think about my weight...

Have a satisfactory Saturday!

I need to join the "No More Ostriching!" movement too!! Happy surgiversary Liz! You're still physically far better off than you were 3 years ago, no matter what the scale says.

Given that all I've done since I posted last night is sleep, I have nothing else to report. But a shower and getting dressed is next on my list followed by walking Fergie. And a trip to the grocery store to buy some veggies which I have been shunning in favor of crap lately.

Happy weekend to you all!

Cold front through here today. A bit of snow, even, a few miles north of us. I am loving the pictures- spring flowers, happy, beautiful homes and beautiful people.

Peps. (Since you asked for feedback re. The sugar detox timing-). This is my experience--When I decide I am going to do something, and then don't straight away get after it, it is because I don't really want to. Someone said this- "No one ever stops doing what they think, on some level, is ok to do. We only will completely stop the moment we realize it (the behavior) is no longer ok to".

If not now, when? If not you, who?

The house'n me-

Thanks for the feed back! Much appreciated. I was sort of thinking the same thing too last night.

Love your house! Looks like a 1930's farm house. How much land do you have? I seem to remember you had a nice parcel attached to the house.

Well, you look damn good Mrs. Whipple! Would never know looking at you that you weren't doing so well 6 months back! BTW, your blouse is one of my favorite summer colors. Works great for both men and women.

I keep putting off the return to eating properly. Not good...

Thanks, Peps! I'm slowly getting it together. The outside pulled together faster than the insides- a work in progress

The house was built in '21- we found all the material invoices in the dining room window seats- fun to look through For example, the windows cost 3.50 a piece, and the siding is cypress wood! We set on something a bit less than 4 acres.
