Greetings All
155 today. So much for weight loss from being sick. Gallery duty this morning. Pretty slow. Went through all this stuff in the mail that was laying around . I am going to be taking over our bill paying as the person who does it is not well. Not too hard but just another thing to keep track of. Our Gallery needs some new blood. We are all getting old and cranky.
Some people around here have those bottle trees. Didn't know the origin. We used to collect those blue bottles and melt them in the kiln with the neck supported so they make these neat cheese trays.
DianeO I can't see any evidence of the lymphodema. You look great as does your house.
Shel hope you are home safe and sound. Yeah its weird in Oregon where they pump your gas. Those guys carry dog biscuits cuz they get barked at all the time.
Planning on taking granola bars to the homeless project tomorrow. Then its an afternoon at the fresh fudge gallery. Number of visitors is directly proportionate to the weather conditions.
DH brough a pizza home yesterday and its great. Also large. Probably 4 dinners worth unless we just pitch it.
Crap, just got a jury summons.
Somehow, all the talk of sugar detox is not moving me to action. But sugar no longer holds the power over me it once did. Pizza and mexican food are another matter. And sometimes I would like to dive head first into a bowl of mashed potatoes.
Ok house pictures. This means you too Bonnie150.

I am so glad you got out to the superbloom! What an experience! But yes, staying close to home tomorrow sounds just right.

Oh, I am envious of your excursion to the desert! I would love to see the superbloom in person. So close, but really very far from me. (I don't think many people on the east coast understand how far a drive it is from one end of CA to the other! From my house to LA is farther than driving from NYC to Richmond, VA! And east coasters know what a fun drive that is down I95 - NOT!)
EDIT TO ADD: I just checked the distance from my house to Anza Borrego. Only 530 miles! LOL! That's NYC to Raleigh, NC!

It's worth seeing at least once, but timing it is a challenge. Most of it had faded by yesterday, but we still got to see pockets if it. And there are few places to stay so it books up fast. I think the campground thing would be fun out there sometime, but in an RV not in a tent (scorpions and snakes...).
It is an enormous state! It was 133 miles each way and the route looks like a blip on the map.
