Had to be up and out to meet my hiking group at 7:45 this AM, so late posting! Hiw did I used to be at work at 6:30?? It was torture this morning, I assure you.
And to add to the torture, my garage door opener died after opening a foot this AM while I'm running out the door. Thank goodness for the Fergmobile that was parked outside! A call to the garage door repairman and I had a new garage door opener by 3pm to the tune of $632 installed. It could have cost twice that I was so glad that he could do it on the spot. A more careful person would have price shopped. I was just glad to have it diagnosed and replaced in less than 30 minutes. I ran into my neighbor who said he's already had to replace his once and his spring once. So I feel lucky (though the repair guy said be prepared for the spring to break soon, but they don't like to replace them before it breaks. Waiting with bated breath for that experience...).
The hike was beautiful. So many flowers, moss and running streams! 9.2 miles.

And Miss Bonnie, your experiences mirror mine exactly! As a Kindergartener I remember hiding in the supply room eating dried macaroni we'd use in art class and taking change from my mom's purse to buy and eat candy in secret, burying the wrappers so no one would know. Heck, I was burying wrappers in my own trash so the cleaning people wouldn't judge me just yesterday.
Greetings Fellow Former Overeaters
I think I was 155 this am. not sure. Ok I forgot. Gallery duty this afternoon and while there were visitors, sales were bleak. Not quite into the tourist season.
Shel, I was trying to find that vacation rental you are getting but failed. In a town with about 4 trees that seems implausible. Looking forward to seeing you. I am afraid rain is predicted.
Yep, I used to hide how much and what I eat. Always sneaked the donuts and treats at the law firm.
Darling calf Shirley. Give her a hug.
Well I did a few leg squats while at the gallery as a break from sitting.
Great hike pictures Cecily. I am like you - would have paid anything just to get the garage door issue out of my hair. I need a new stove and will probably do the same thing.
Thinking of you Liz on the anniversary of loss of Elise. I am reading a book on how to be an old lady and dealing with loss is a part of it. Yours was way too soon.
Well time to think of a delicious protein rich dinner that takes 5 seconds to make. Soup from a can I think.

I'll be happy for rain. My skin is massively dry. Maybe I can only live in the PNW or risk self-dehydrating into beef jerky.
I pulled up more info because I started wondering if I booked in a different state or something. Was relieved to find a full address....
