Good Morning - Hump Day here - just back from letting out SIL feathered babies and feeding our cows some hay for breakfast - sipping a third cup of tea cause its much cooler and I can :)

Just work planned for today then will pop into town to post a letter and grab some things. Need fuel for the machinery as well so likely will do that at the same time. Im bringing my mum back up with me next Monday so I will need to wash the bedding in the caravan as that is where I will be - I give her the bed in the mini house as its easier for her and close to the bathroom. Will be lovely to spend some time with her next week.

Shel - you are a machine. Im normally only up at that time for a loo run :)

Have a wonderful day/evening all x

Haha, early morning loo runs, ain't it the truth! The horror of one within an hour of the alarm, knowing you'll never get back into a deep sleep, or the comfort of the 2:30am run, knowing another REM cycle awaits.

I have turned into my parents. They, in turn, have turned into....well I don't know who. I'm sure they don't recognize me, either.

Weight ?

I must admit, I've been hitting the carbs again. Maybe 20g is too hard to do for more than a month. I might try something like 50 or 75g. Still way less than the average person, but maybe gives me a little more freedom. Argh. More to come.

I just sent Liz a direct message asking her to check in when she has a chance and let her know that we miss her!

I gave Ferg a bath this morning. That totally counts as exercise. He has SO MUCH FUR. Off to the movies with friends right now. Take care!

I find 50 grams of carbs easier to do also. I eat a lot of dairy (Greek yogurt, Fairlife Milk and cottage cheese) and serving size for these foods is usually around 6 grams of carbohydrates. Hardly earth shattering, and none of it added sugar, but it adds up to 20 real fast.

Greetings Peeps Peps and Peps

156.5 today. Could be worse. Had a slice of a thin chicken artichoke pizza last night. So good. Relatively low in calories as pizza goes.

Spent the afternoon playing Scrabble by the fire which is so fun. But these guys are killer good.

I have been seeing Liz posts on FB and I know DSD was visiting so I am hoping they are just busy and having lots of fun. I worry too when someone goes quiet.

Off to the dog shows leaving at noon tomorrow. Its 150 miles to Redding but winding roads so I have to take car sick pills. Big Foot lives out there. I think its free of snow right now and weather is supposed to be clear for the next week or so. Hope so because that road has closed with slides or snow a few times this winter. And unlike Shel, I have no mountaineering boots.

So I am busy doing laundry and packing after frittering away the day. I need to get organized and get stuff packed for myself and Tesla. Its astonishing how much stuff one needs to go to a dog show for a 13 pound dog. Paperwork to print out, pills, dogwood, collars, leashes, brushes, toys, snacks, water, and on and on plus all the same for me. At least someone else will show my dog so I don't have to dress up. Its amazing what fancy outfits some people wear and remember they have to clean up dog hair and poop. Dog show eating is always an issue, as Peps knows. Down in Napa they had more California style food but in Shasta County I suspect its hot dogs and other mystery meat. I hope we can at least find some good Mexican food for one dinner.

More pizza tonight and then I will leave the rest for DH while I am away.

Well Shirley, San Fran is pretty doable for me - 5 to 6 hour drive. Las Vegas is airplane time which is fine but takes planning. We shall see.

Well, better make my list. I may be AWOL for a few days since I will have only tablet. DianeO, I think you should buy that house and move there. Diane S

Have a great trip Diane :)

Its looking like San Fran is the most convenient for the majority thus far - so will likely aim for that .....
