Happy Friday all! Shout out to our missing friends. Hope all in well and you're off having fun!

Weight?

I woke up last night with a fever, runny nose and sneezing last night. Head colds suck! Such a weird night's sleep too. At midnight it felt like I had been in bed for 8 hours. Then I woke every hour on the hour thinking it must be morning soon... Apparently my virus head visitors are nighttime party animals.

So I bowed out of my hike this morning and am sitting in my jammies thinking about going to the pharmacy for the good cold meds, but thinking about whether I'm too gross to go without getting ready. I think I can swing a bra and shoes, but not sure I feel like doing much more.

Here's hoping you all managed undergarments and shoes today! I think that counts as winning going into the weekend. Take care all and wash your hands to avoid germs!

Greetings Friday Funsters

155.5. Where is everyone? Out having fun I suspect. OceanD is traveling to Serenityville. Ann might have a massive hangover (just kidding). Everyone else is shoveling snow or doing something useful or productive. Not me. Sitting in jammies net surfing and drinking coffee. But I do have things to do.

Sorry you are stuffed up Cecily. Yeah gotta get the behind the counter cold drugs. Others are worthless. And cheers for codeine cough syrup even if you are not coughing. Makes you feel better.

The sun is out for another day then rain returns. DH took the electric car in for routine maintenance which is tire rotation mainly. With no gas or oil it doesn't need much. There were no software updates. Really a great car.

Dogs are basking in the sun on the deck. Thats their main activity these days. Our deck has concrete underneath it and somehow its always warmer than the air around.

One slice of pizza made for a great dinner last night. Can't believe I was satisfied with that. My former self would have had at least half the pizza. Pizza and Mexican food are what I crave most.

Well take care Cecily and everybody. Diane S

Guessing NC is a lot more temperament than home. Enjoy!

Work week is in the bag. Yessss! I truly do love my job, but I also love lounging. It's one of my talents, I have the gift of lounging. And it's co skill, the gift of puttering.

Perusing my supplies, shrimp, ground beef, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, onions, Costco chicken, salad, blue cheese dressing... If I'm snowed in tomorrow, I will eat luxuriously and keto style. And I did end up replenishing the liquor supply with some rum. Not keto, but also not a siren call for me. I like an occasional ****tail, but find no problem showing restraint. Potato chips however....

The snow starts tomorrow, so we might go see a movie tonight. Last week's movie plans were thwarted by a snowstorm Friday night. Good grief, enough already.

I can retain some hope today, because it's two weeks until spring break. We're Florida bound!! A week's worth of weather respite.

Cecily, Double checking, yes all undergarments and footwear in place. Did you catch Peps cold? I hope you got the good stuff and have some symptom relief.

Pep's sounded like the flu! Mine is nothing but a cold, but I am a virus wimp. I did get the good stuff and enjoyed chicken soup, Sudafed, and a 2 hour nap to round out my afternoon of sneezing and blowing!
