My heart goes out to you and yours. It is easy to forget how how fragile our bodies are.

Greetings Weekend Revelers
154.5 today. Down a little. I have been trying to reduce wine and increase veggies. A good plan for me.
Yesterday I took Chip to the vet for a vaccine. As usual, he was the star of the waiting room - such a cute dog everyone wants to pet him. All dogs should be so loved. And I took him in the car not in a kennel which is something I rarely do. He was curious about the views but well behaved. Gotta get a kennel that fits in the electric car.
Shel, I had no clue there was a Bullet Proof guy nor the whole line of products they have. Have you tried any of their protein stuff? I have not been into pod casts but should because I like information. Always listen to NPR and BBC but it can get repetitive.
The sun is out and DH took Tesla for a walk for the first time since his surgery. Good for both. Hoping some of the standing water dries up. Just read that there is a slide on the 101 about halfway to San Francisco with only one lane open. It may be that way for quite some time. So much for any trips there. More rain predicted but not for a few days and not such torrents.
Liz have fun with DSD. Hoping that DH settles down and that you have a good visit. Glad its nice there.
Yep, Noodle is indeed charismatic. Darling little pup. You must miss her. And hey, did you make that awesome cake yourself????!!!!! Very cool. I can see why you like the ceramics thing. Are you going to do more (hope so).
I will spend today at the studio and in search of veggies. Maybe homemade soup with the half steak I still have. Also cut checks for the gallery.
Peps, get well. No fun being sick on a weekend. Diane S
The thought of Noodle makes me smile, and yes, I still expect her to be in space here and there as I enter a room or glance at the particular places she liked to settle herself.
I wish I could say the cake construction/decoration was mine. In a word-Nope. and yes, I do hope to get the hands back into the clay. Maybe this next fall. Whoop!
About bullet proof guy...I haven't tried his protein stuff.
I did by his brain fuel (? it is his purified coconut oil stuff) to add to bullet proof (coffee plus butter) to see if it helps me maintain energy thru my fasted hikes. This is the third time trying it and this is the first time I didn't make a colossal mess. It has to be blended and I refuse to use the blender so I use a blending stick. It tastes weird and I don't like oily lips as I sip my coffee. I'll see if I have energy to get off my azz to clean the floors.
He interviews a wide spectrum of people on his podcasts. Some really chafe my core beliefs, others introduce me to cool things, some are a bit wackadoodle but I like a lot. For example, one guy was all about what one gains from being exposed to nature's microbiome, specifically going to different places because the microbiome varies. This appealed to me as I tromped thru the woods.
Also, when my patients brings up that they can't start a new med because they are also starting shoe inserts to block electromagnetic radiation, I know what they are talking about. I think the people of Humboldt county would approve of many of his guests.
