Good Morning All - back up at our farm till Friday night. Got up around 6.30pm and worked around my SIL place watering etc till 8.30pm then home for dinner and bed. Slight headache this morning - hoping it shifts during the day. Have been over and let out all her chooks n ducks and turned on the automatic waterers. I think the next 3 weeks will be super busy with running 2 farms. I need to water our trees etc tonight after work. Might help to curb this eating pattern Ive gotten myself into. I need to finish reading the Keto book and commit to starting next week when I am back up here as putting on weight (my own fault) and not liking it.
Cows are well - 3 pregnant ones are as fat as mud but looking healthy and happy. They came running (at 1100+ lbs approx thats quite a sight) when they saw me arrive last night as they wanted to be let into the area with the good feed - that only happens when Im here as its fenced with electric tape and needs supervision to make sure one of them doesnt push past it. Hopefully in the next month - we have 3 new calves running around our place and well mummas - 2 are first timers so will need to be watched carefully. We have experienced family (thank goodness) and very good vets on hand if help is needed as DH will be at our city home working. One thing about being on a farm you are always learning but I love it. New life is just so special.
Just work planned then collecting some blinds that I hope will fit my DSD home - Lady was giving them away so I grabbed them. I will take her a jar of chutney as a thank you. Then will work between here and SIL farm to care for everything. Busy day
Well I best keep going - take care all

Update on the Uterine Wars. The IUD had stealthily left the building sometime in the last month and a half when she checked last. They did an internal ultrasound and it was not there. I did get to watch the screen. How do ultrasound techs know what they're looking at?? It's all just grey squiggles and shadows and blobs to me.
Anyway, she put a new one in without me having taken any pre-painkillers. Holy hell that hurt. Way more than last time. I hope this one stays in, though she said my cervix is rather open. Great. I have a slack-jawed cervix. If this one falls out, she recommends ablation to fire bomb it. (It's like a horror movie - Revenge of the Uterus.) Which I'm hoping to avoid as it requires a biopsy from the uterus and she said that really hurts compared to an IUD. Considering this one made me cry, I don't want that...
Too bad there aren't cervix exercises to tighten them up. She also took blood I do not have to spare to check for anemia as I feel like garbage. So all done for now!
OUCH!
Your story made me quite curious about the IUD. Fascinating device. I know more about them than I ever thought I would. I am so sorry you are one of the rare people who has experienced expulsion of the device. SUCKS!
However, Puppy Nanny, long time friend Aunty Kathryn had similar problems as you with menstruation including intense pain. She had an ablation procedure and VIOLA! all better!
Oh boy - that all stinks! I hope the IUD sticks this time!
