Hello everyone!
Ann-so glad you checked in. I've wondered about you too
Devon-like Diane, my pushup number is zero. I might have been able to do a couple "girl" pushups a few years back. And pullups? Pshhhh don't even ask haha! I guess my trouble is I don't even really know where to start building that strength. I really really enjoyed chest workouts (which I'm not supposed to do since I have implants but hahaha they've always been screwed up so bring it on) and I think I really lack in my chest strength so maybe that's why pushups are so hard? I cannot wait to get back to the gym. I mean, love/hate but the feeling of STRENGTH is so intoxicating. I've never felt that way about my body before. I mean, I really like how I look thinner since WLS or even (some) plastics, but that feeling of woah, body you did me right!!
Diane O.-Is blubbing out to a movie a bad thing? I feel like you hve some pretty good discipline to have not fallen asleep...which is what I do recently every time I try to watch a movie lol!
Cecily-I'm so sorry to hear about IUD woes. I'll admit the thing scares the crap outta me. I've heard about an equal loves as hates for it. I'm very fortunate to not have any female issues but I do always worry that those things change after childbirth and age. I've never really had to think about prevention before so that will be new territory for me after this baby and I'm not looking forward to it.
What a busy weekend! The advantage to a busy weekend is I find I actually eat less! Feeling pretty okay about my weight right now. I wish I'd started 10lbs. lighter like I did with Becca. But by now means have I balooned in weight. At 26 weeks I read weight gain should be 16-22lbs. and I've gained 19, which puts me smack dab in the middle of the recommendations.
Looks like we will be buying those rental properties. We only got to see one before putting in an offer. So we had the opportunity to go look yesterday and I fully expected to be "catfished." They were really nice. Even the non-updated ones were perfectly fine as-is. However, one thing remains abundantly clear: their rent is wayyyyyyyy too low. I mean, bad. And the trouble with inheriting renters is you feel like such a schmuck having to raise rent. But it's gotta happen. Of course having some rent is better than none, so we won't do anything drastic if they sign a new lease. If they don't, rent will go up a lot for the next people. Apparently the previous owners are out of state so probably just didn't want to deal with it.
Saturday was full of fun. I went to a girl's brunch (which didn't start until 1:30????). They wanted to daydrink which is of course not really the thing for me right now. Then our evening didn't even begin until after 7...dinner at 7:45 and comedy club at 10:30. This mama is getting too old for that! But really fun day. And yesterday after touring the properties, I pulled off some kind of magic: I had family over for late lunch: put a ham I'd bought at christmastime in the crockpot, a frozen baked macaroni in cheese went on cooktime in the oven, peas with pearl onions, and apple cobbler for dessert. I basically cleaned out my freezer and it felt so good! And springy!
But by the time last night rolled around, I was falling asleep...sitting up in my chair. ZzzzZ
They have them "relocated" when they exceed 6 feet. There is another one in the pond which is probably close to that. I've been told it is a real event to watch how they catch them for relocation.

Weight 171.6
I had to cancel my hair appointment and gym today due to the Uterine Wars. I have an appointment at the Gyn tomorrow afternoon.
My weight progress is still progressing! Yesterday I had eggs with spinach and chives, bacon, macadamia nuts, cheese, a protein shake, steak, broccoli, raspberries and cream. Nummy.
The guest room is ready for my friend tonight. As predicted by him, the junk was relocated to other junk areas. One day I'll get it straightened out.
Doling out happy Mondays (and Tuesdays to Shirley)!
I need to get on your keto wagon!

Greetings Winter Survivors
156 today. Nice dinner last night of the smoked sausage plus artichoke hearts. Must get more of those.
Hey DianeO, you are totally entitled to "blob out" with a movie and wine. This winter has been a nightmare in many parts of the nation. Lassen, about 150 miles inland, is supposed to get 100 inches of snow in the next three days. Its already high there. Here on the coast its been raining steadily and a few more days to go. Isn't an inch of rain equal to a foot of snow if it's freezing? Anyway, DianeO we all can't wait until you go south and share adventures. Meanwhile stay warm. You too DD and Paula. The reports are just horrid!
Ann you party animal! Sounds like the party of a lifetime. I can so see why you are so busy! But go for it - do it all. Spring at the farm will come soon enough.
And BB your partying amazes me with baby under construction! Enjoy this time.
DH is in a funk since the big tv is having cut outs. Made him so angry he had to take a nap.
We watched the Oscars last night. No host needed. Seemed like all the dresses were sculptural and asymmetrical. Except I did not care for Glenn Close's 42 pound dress. Really? Ditto the ones that looked like Glenda the good witch.
Well that's about it. Time to get moving and go to the studio and deal with the rain. So glad rain does not need to be shoveled. Diane S
Yeah there were some great gowns and some frights. J-Los dress was beautiful but the reflections could have taken down aircraft! I was so wishing I had my best friend (now deceased) here to make fun of the get ups. Yeah, Spike sort of demeaned himself in that purple outfit. And ditto Aquaman in the fuzzy pink tux. He looked so uncomfortable. But I am glad that the men are dressing more out-there instead of the usual groomsman rent-a-tux. Cheers. ds
