Believe it, or not, the best luck I have had with any food lately has been with Kirkland Chicken and Rice and Vegetable. It is super high in carbs (about 40%), but my dogs love, love, love it and all my skin and ear problems stopped as soon as they started eating it. I buy 3 to 4 40 pound bags per month and they do not seem to tire of it whatsoever. It actually has a nice smell to it, unlike a lot of other kibbles that smell just this side of rancid to me. Give it a try. Sadly, they don't have a small bag. Only 40 pounders. But, it's really inexpensive as dog foods go, so I'd say it's worth a try. I can always send you a sample baggie, if you want to try it first. I'm happy to do so! Let me know.

No kidding? Kirkland? But you have five big dogs. Mine is 13 pounds. Guess I will look for something similar at the pet supply store I use. They don't carry stuff with suspect ingredients. They also foster and re-home chihuahuas. I can take Teslas old food for them.

I found Kirkland small bites in a 20 pound bag on Amazon.

Good Morning All - Start of the working week here again - Why oh why do weekends go so fast! Weight is up again 173.8. I think its definately a combo of pain pills and allowing myself treats so cant complain. I know how to fix it. Had an indulgent night. Binge watched Netflix - catching up on a show I love. Then dinner - oven fried fish and vegetable cous cous (premade) - slack but I enjoyed it. Just the puppies and I - was very peaceful. Oh and I had control of the TV remote - thats a rarity indeed

Just work today then going to hairdressers for a cut n colour - onto dinner from there with a girlfriend. We have been trying to catch up for months n month so will be nice to see her. I am heading to the farm tommorrow after work so will need to get everything organised here. Our niece gets induced Tuesday so we are hoping for positive baby news Tuesday or Wednesday. My SIL is going to stay down there 2-3 weeks so I am looking after her farm as well as ours. Will be busy - fingers crossed the extra work equates to more activity and stops this cycle Im in...... Also looking to finishing the keto book and trying the eating plan whilst up there on my own. Much easier to fend for myself.

Well I best get this butt into gear. First cup of tea of the day is in hand

Have a wonderful evening all

Shirley

Shirley, when I read your charming posts, I always hear an Aussie accent in my head. :)

And a cup of tea in the morning is everything!

As promised, we are experiencing fierce winds creating blizzard like conditions. Some interstates outside of the Minneapolis metro area are closed, and law enforcement is begging people to stay home. Since they shouldn't have to risk their lives to rescue me if things go badly, I am complying. Not even going outside to shovel, it's pointless and far too miserable until the winds die down tonight. Data to prove we are really suffering here: average snowfall for Minnesota in February, a bit over 7 inches. Total so far this month: 37+. We are now the snowiest February on record ever. More snow forecast for Tuesday.

Low carb still making me happy. I had delicious grilled tenderloin and a spinach salad with blue cheese dressing. Dinner will be roasted chicken and more salad. If I'm ever hungry again after the tenderloin, (right now seems almost impossible, I am so content) Greek yogurt and walnuts are on deck for snacks. And maybe strawberries with cream.

I'm musing about many random things today: how I never miss my uterus, would some holy water keep carb cravings away, what would the sun on my face feel like, what forms could I complete with crayon and what color would I choose?

Maybe my time would be better spent taking care of some chores here, since I am definitely homebound for the day :)

Hey Diamond

Adult coloring books are quite fun. But don't go out to get one. Probably could print some off the internet. Or do a crossword in crayon.......
