I was wondering, but thought the sentiment more than made up for confusing me with my honey!

Weight 126.2. Not doing much to change that except on a sporadic basis. I'm still feeling down but it is raining today which doesn't help. Maybe it is the anniversary of eldest DD's last few weeks doing it? It always used to but I thought it had subsided some. She had a bowel blockage on Super Bowl Sunday 2005 and ended up in emergency surgery after which we found out that she was terminal (she passed away on 3/22). I used to countdown what was happening day by day in 2005 in my head. I don't do that anymore but maybe it is just under my conscious thoughts?

Anyway on the plus side, BIL is coming for a visit in April which I paid for in return for him staying with DH while I go to Aruba. So I booked that flight too.

Also, DH is fully enrolled for daycare and will be going next Tuesday again. Right now we are doing it adhoc, so I'm planning on 1-2 times a week for now.

Thats it for now - I am going out for a ladies get together here in about an hour. That should brighten up the day. DD and her friend are at Universal Studios in Orlando for the next couple of days so we are just hanging around other than that.

Have a welcome Wednesday!

I don't think it's that strange that you are feeling down. One thing I don't think we acknowledge much in this society is how much loss comes with Alzheimer's Disease. Unlike other illnesses much loss with Alzheimer's comes well before the patient dies. Couple that with the loss of DD during this season.... I know you are a New Englander and with that comes a certain stoicism, but I will echo what has been said here before: there is no harm in one to one counseling. Even though you have good resources with the group stuff you go to for DH, you have other stuff that could be seeping in making your coping so much more difficult than you realize. All this is said out of love and concern. Not meaning to preach or dictate. HUGS!

Greetings Wagyu People

This well marbled Wagyu is down a half to 155.5. I ate the rest of the burger for breakfast yesterday. Yum. Gonna get some today. Chicken soup for tonight, though I have a gallery board meeting.

Yay Diane O for keeping striving for self awareness and improvement. In our 60's its pretty easy to kind of give up on such ventures. You inspire me to do more of the same. I am seeing a new therapist - not so much for eating issues but for overall inertia. Journaling and looking for themes.

Hey Peps you should be the teacher of the year. So cute that you got flowers for the performer students. Many years ago I sent flowers to my niece for a dance recital. Also asked my four year old nephew for his autograph after his dance recital. Fun.

And the fun nephew will be here Friday. It will ******d fest for sure.

Dog Chip has now barfed on the carpet two days in a row. He has been eating grass and maybe poop. Not sure whats up. If it happens again its a vet visit.

And DianeO, you are the BEAST of snow shoveling. Amazing how you have a methodology but very wise. Just don't overdo it. When we announced we were moving from the midwest, all of DH's co workers immediately asked to buy his snow blower.

Yeah Peps, I too feel jealous of people who eat baked stuff and are skinny. I know they moderate themselves in more ways than I know and are probably more active but it still sucks to be a Wagyu. Could be worse. I could be a stupid intolerance selfish biggot. I am none of the above. Just a Wagyu. So love that word.

Well take care all. I am going to make some eggs. Done with coffee. Diane S

I was hoping wagyu would have some great meaning (it definitely is a good word), but alas all I could find was: "from wa 'Japanese' + gyu 'cattle, beef'"

Hey Liz, Wagyu is a type of beef from special cattle that originated in Japan but are being raised here too. Its naturally well marbled even when grass fed so its really good and tender. So BB and I had a joke that we were naturally well marbled, hence Wagyu people. I bought some Wagyu beef at the health food store to cook tonight. See previous day posts. Diane S

Year, I saw that - LOL! I was just hoping there was a more interesting definition for it.

Eating not so great. Exercise, well, I grudgingly walked up and down the steps at work a few times. I'm a real maintenance success story. I am leaving the house to go get my hair highlighted and cut. And I have some groovy red jeans to wear tomorrow, so I'm not a complete loss.
