I started yesterday with a phone call that my RV payment was 14 days overdue ! I ALWAYS pay bills early, and couldn't find this month's bill. I am hyper organized, but never noticed I hadn't received the bill or paid it. Time for an automatic electronic payment ! I hate being fallible !!

Liz, eager to hear how adult daycare went ! It is well worth the money !! Peps- sorry to hear about Ron's prognosis. It has been almost a year since DC and I have shared mutual physical intimacy. Our emotional intimacy has strengthened some, but his mental health issues limit that a bit too. Sounds like your gym BEAST recognition is shared by your romantic endeavors ! Nice job with the card and cake and kick ass adulting !! By the way... most days I have one Quest bar mid-morning for the extra protein. I find that I don't need MiraLAX this way. Ann as those verbs conjugate, I hope that lung continues to clear. Shel... snow ? DD.. sounds like the weather welcomed you home in style ! TGIF !! Shirl...positive thoughts your way ! Hope the farm brings you peace. BB, I hope the week ends more smoothly than your Hump Day began ! Cecily... hope you stayed off the scale for a few days, and that you are pleased when you try it again ! Diane, hope DH's adventure with the guys was fun for him, and that it left you both with dinners for days !

Friday is here - two days until DD arrives! Weight 126.2, calories ?

DH enjoyed the daycare. He was there from 11-4:30. He danced, played games, talked with folks, etc. When I picked him up he said he would like to go back. Yeah! After DD leaves, I think I'll try to bring him 1-2 days a week probably for about the same amount of time. There is a 4 hour a day minimum and lunch is included so that window is good for ensuring that he is up, dressed and ready.

We are here until May 19, so I will be able to use it for 3 months. There is a similar daycare at home but there aren't as many so I will have to look into getting him in there before we go home. Hopefully there isn't a wait list.

While DH was there we went to a fashion show here in our park. We knew most of the models and they had a lot of fun with it. Nice clothes, good luncheon, and the profits went to the homeless coalition (and remaining catered food to the shelter). I won a gift certificate to Outback in the raffle (I never win)! I sat with a woman who told me about a singles club she is in that meets for dinner once a week. I mentioned SIL and she went over later to talk to her about it. Maybe we can get SIL to go do something on her own?

Have a fruitful Friday!

So glad that club worked out. And, while not cheap, much less expensive than a personal companion.

Dear daughter's plane arrived this morning at 2 am. DH got up, brought her home, went back to bed again, and then left for work at 6am. He's a trooper. DD is safely sleeping in her room. Due to icy roads and subzero temps, school is a 2 hour late start. Time for me to get on my way. Have a warm and cozy day, whatever the weather looks like outside your window.

Just checking in...It's been good getting back in routine. I'm tired...lol. All my energy has been spent going to work, coming home and getting into bed. I'm puttering/cleaning house today slowly. I tried a new house cleaner and she didn't work out. I think I'd rather do it myself and know it gets done the way I like it. Plus it keeps me active.

I hope everyone is feeling better. Sickness is all around us at school and I'm hoping it doesn't come to us! I'm disinfecting the library daily.

Shirl, I'm a stress eater, too. Hang in there.

Cecily, isn't there a rule about not weighing after vacation:)

Liz, happy day are worked out !

DianeO, is it warming up where you are? Hope so. It's freezing here!!

Ann, hope you're feeling better. The French lessons sound amazing!

Diamond, TGIF! Hope you have a good day at school.

Diane, hows the hubby? Hope you are well.

Bonnie, missing you. Hope all is well.

BB, hope your weekend is great!

Devon, lots of love and hugs!

We are hopefully buying a new car tomorrow. We went last Saturday but left mad! Long story short, the salesman lied. We left. Owner called and honored our deal. We'll see...

We also ordered an adjustable bed that should be here soon. I'm excited. I wished I had it for recovery but will enjoy it now. It's still slow going for sure!

Enjoy your weekend!

So glad to hear you are out and about. Work does, indeed, use up valuable energy resources. Home and rest are just what you daily need. A pox on car salesmen and insurance companies! Good for the owner for stepping up and doing the right thing.
