I'll start us off today at dark o'clock, since I crawled into bed last night at 6:30 after an early dinner of more sautéed drum (fish). I still got 7 hours of sleep and feel good. I'm also proud of yesterday's 8 veggies and fruits and 32 grams of fiber. :)
Monday here was beautiful--in the mid-sixties and sunny. I walked over 12K steps, lifted weights out at the Destination Gym, and did 40 minutes of gentle (mostly stretching) yoga.
Also practiced a lot of French pronunciations of numbers, seasons, months, dates, etc. I did mention I'm taking baby French, eh? ;)
The weather here is about to turn colder. In NOLA, a polar vortex is 41 degrees that feel like 32, thanks to 90% humidity and 20 mph winds. I can handle that.
Today's theme: Keep doing what works.

They came to finish installing the new shower three days early....score !
We changed a fuse in out dead pellet stove and got it working again .... Score !! (Last time this happened, we bought a pack of ten fuses, and even knew where we'd put them !)
We're in the process of renting a house in Pawley's Island South Carolina for most of March, arriving back home just in time to have SS dewinterized. We'll drive, bring the dogs, and scope out RV parks for future visits. As Peps can tell you, being 32' long is no way to explore areas that might not accommodate an RV !! I don't even care if the weather is in the 60's... it won't be below freezing !! Diane has my mouth all watered up to go crabbing, and Ann & Liz have me thinking about pan fish !! We are deciding between beach front and low country inlets. I can take a bit more than a month of this nonsense when the end is in sight !!!

So glad y'all are getting out of frozen Dodge! Very, very smart of you.
BTW, your excellent post yesterday put me in a meditative place about this process we're in. The motivations, both positives and negatives -- in multiple ways, the rewards, the "Now what!?" questions, and more. Thank you.

P.S. Your new shower pix on FB look fabulous. I agree -- it's much nicer than the previous incarnation.

Good morning! We gained an hour today, so now just 5 hours ahead of CA. It's another day at sea, then we end up in ***** de Este, Uruguay for two days.
The cabin attendants work so hard like every person on the crew. They make up/clean your room twice a day and learn what you like to drink and keep the room refrigerator stocked. I'm drinking way too much Diet Coke! Or Coca-Cola Light or Sem Açucar as the cans say here.
Today is more of yesterday schedule-wise. Water everywhere the eye can see.
Sea days are my favorites. :) That's why I love transoceanic cruises. If The Flying Dutchman ship were nice enough I could live on it.
It's so much fun seeing your pix and hearing what you're doing. :)
