I'll start as I will be away from WiFi until late today.

We had a nice dinner last night sitting outside. So much nicer once the sun went down! I really need to drink more water today. Felt like I was behind with a headache this morning. I saw the housekeeping cart and begged the housekeeper for 3 bottles. I already drank two other ones today!

VToday we go see The Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf up close, then board the ship around 4:30.

It's funny how when you're traveling with couples and you're single, so can feel so alone. I tried to meet my needs by asking that we have a group text so I wouldn't be left out, but ended up having breakfast alone. But alone time is good I tell myself!

Anyway, must run, the guide is here!

What Fun! (Aside from the humidity, which is a real buzz-kill for me, too). I remember what you mean about the singles-couples thing- but Hey! Honest to gosh, Cecile, If I was on that cruise (and didn't yet know you) YOU would be a person I would Love to get to know and spend time with. So, look around you- I bet there are a lot of "me-s" on that ship! Be bold, girl- you are a true gift!

Weight 123.8, calories 1054. Not enough serious diligence to dropping those calories low enough for enough time to drop down. Hmmm...

Cecily, I'm sure you will work out a communication system with your group. Maybe a preset time to meet somewhere on the ship? I will have to learn from your experiences as any future traveling I do will be as a single person, but likely in some group. I used to travel alone for work sometimes but that was totally different because there wasn't anybody else I knew so I could just do my own thing.

It is pouring outside and Justice is shaking in my lap. Florida thunderstorms seriously frighten this little boy possibly because he was probably out in a few when he was a stray. Luckily I got him outside to do his business before it started because he absolutely won't go out in the rain even if he is completely full up. No walking this morning in the rain with our group either, but it is nice to have a slower start in the am.

DH has been nasty in the late afternoon/evening lately even with the Namenda out of his system even though he was pleasant if confused earlier in the day. I'm pretty sure it is sundowning. So I gave him a Risperidone tablet at about 3:30 last night and he was much more pleasant. I'm not going to use it today and tomorrow to see what happens.

Anyway, not much on the agenda today with the rain though I do have a couple of small projects I could attend to. Have a transformative Thursday!

Happy Day 2 of Cecily's big adventure!

Cecily, great pic yesterday! Boo humidity! Can't wait to hear about the ship. I bet B150 is right about the cruise being easier as a one. Even when I travel with DH and DD I sometimes end up as a one because of different sleep schedules/food preferences.

I went to bed on time last night and then woke up in middle of night and ate about 500 cal's that I wish I wouldn't have. I'm typing that so that I don't ostrich. I would have much rather had 500 extra calories NOLA style.

A hodgepodge of yesterday's hike below. It was wet and slippery.

Enjoy the day! Shel

Wow! Great pix, Shel.

What is that spiky-looking blue-green thing ... a mushroom?

It's a type of lichen, I think. It had fallen out of a tree. Another pic showed a downed tree trunk with different colors of flat lichen on it. Rather pretty, I thought.

I had a student once that was going to get married and her bridal "flower" was moss. So PNW. I didn't see her after the wedding so never saw the pics.

Poor scaredy dog Justice. My little Lily (Yorkie) is the same way. Mmmm a nice thunderstorm (from inside, of course) sounds so lovely. Actually, I'd really like one crazy stay-in-and-eat-chili-by-the-fire snowstorm before the end of winter

Diane S.-hope DH is feeling better.

Have I missed Diane O. the past couple days?

Cecily-hope you have so much fun

Shel-your photos amaze me

David-thinking about you and Adalynn. HOpe all is well

Missing Paula too. Hope she's having a grand time with BF

Made spaghetti and meatsauce all in IP yesterday. Much easier (or at least a lot less pans) than usual. But a little more tomatoey for me (since the pasta cooks in sauce). But alas pasta is still sooo hard for me to eat.

Feeling a little happier about scale weight today. I'm going to embrace that confidence whileI have it. 11lbs. at 22 weeks isn't so scary. Hopefully.
