Greetings Deep Thinkers

154 today. No clue why the drop but I will take it.

Today's mission is some studio stuff plus to inspect DH's incision site. Its sort of underneath his big "dunlap" of loose skin so he can't do it himself. I know, TMI.

Scrabble was good yesterday and I even won one game.

Liz the pot roast sounds great. Gotta try it. Yeah you need a pool day. So sorry your DH is becoming more challenging.

Good on all of you in the step parenting mode. Sounds like time and patience are the key. You are all blessed.

Hey Cecily, can't wait to hear your first reports!

And Ann, so love your party chronicles. Keep it up. You know how to live.

Interesting thoughts Devon. Keep sharing.

I have got to start a new to do list. Stuff is piling up and I am going to forget stuff. Tax stuff coming in and I can't afford to miss any of it.

Steak last night and more tonight. One steak is like a pot roast to the two of us.

Beautiful!

I believe we from California are more susceptible to humidity because ours is so low! (Though you do Michigan during the summer, and that ain't no arid desert!) Hang in there.

How many hours ahead are you from PST, 5,6?

How long are you cruising?

I think you're right about Californians and humidity. The heat I can handle, but the wet with it is too much!

It's 6 hours ahead of CA. The cruise is 10 days with an extra day in Rio and one in Buenos Aires.

PS - the humidity/heat here puts the worst Michigan has to offer to shame. I thought that would give me a frame of reference so I prepared for that, but this is something else entirely. I can't seem to drink enough to counteract it...

Oh my heart! I think I mentioned I did a gap year in Brazil? How I love that country and Brazilians. And Portuguese. It's like singing. Enjoy!! Hello SugarLoaf, it's been awhile. I was last in Brazil in 2017, but not Rio. Hoping to see you in 2020.

Did you?? That's so cool! I thought maybe my 15 years of Spanish classes would help me pick out a few words of Portuguese, but it's so very different, but beautiful sounding.
