Hey Peps, sorry you are sick. No fun. Hit the ol' chicken soup!

And let us know if you figure out why you want to lose weight. Kind of a profound question really that none of us really ask ourselves. Seems like the entire world wants us to lose weight. Or does it........

Greetings Peeps, Peps and Pets

Well life is sort of getting back to normal. DH got a good sleep and is fairly comfortable now that he is back to his big chair and iPad. He actually had dreams about searching stuff on that iPad and is totally addicted to it. Follow up with surgeon on Thursday. DH is now fixated on eating iron rich foods (but of course refuses liver), so I have planned a lunch of lentils since they are on the list of high iron foods. He likes to be fussed over so I will do it.

We watched part of the Chiefs game and at least it was a good one. When I went to get DH at the hospital visitors were leaving talking about going home to watch the first game, return to visit in between games and then going home for the second. LOL, hope their family member wasn't too sick!

Hey Cecily you are becoming the work out queen. Heck yes, meet the guy for coffee or something. Why not? And enjoy the trip. Packing anxiety is indeed a thing. I tend to rush through it and then wonder what the heck I was thinking. What are goblet squats?

Well its a sunny day here unlike yesterdays downpour. DianeO I am amazed - ONLY 17 inches of snow! Glad you got those pellets loaded in. Stay warm and don't overdo the snow shoveling. But Shirley I have to tell you to stay cool. 107 degrees!!!!! Yikes

Shel that's a beautiful photo. Amazing how fog is "50 shades of grey". I can't imagine hiking with 30 extra pounds. You go girl.

Liz I hope your DH sleeps a lot today along with my DH. Some days are just "nap" days.

Well a kiln opens today and I should have a few goodies. Then its usual rounds of store to store, pharmacy and whatever. Trying to eat healthy means I have to go to the health store for some stuff and another store for other stuff. Two pharmacies as the one doesn't have my vitamins. Oh well. First world indeed.

Have a great day all. Diane S

I knew what a goblet squat was (and I love them) but I had never heard that explanation before. So interesting. I learn so much from our group!

Very interesting. But don't think I can do it with the dumbbell. But I am going to try it on my gallery days as I stare at the Fudge sign. Thanks ds

You can work up to doing it with heavy globs of clay... honestly the weight helps me with balance. I'm more wobbly when I do them with nothing in my hands.

Good Morning All, Fasting today till 8.30am so I can have my 6 monthly bloods done for Surgeon. Sipping water and wishing it was a hot cup of tea - only an hour to go

Had a nice evening with my best friend and her hubby. They arrived late so it was a late meal. I made steak, roast veggie spinach salad with pinenuts, coleslaw, sourdough bread - she brought a delicious trifle. It went way too quick as they only get a certain amount of time with the respite people before they had to go home to their autistic adult sons.

Today will be more of a potter day - just work then Im catching the train into the city to meet DSD - DH and I bought each other tickets to the Harry Potter Show (over 2 nights) and he now cant go due to work committments. So I suggested I take my Stepdaughter as her birthday gift - she is super excited and Im very much looking forward to spending some quality time with her. We will do the same tommorrow night for part 2 of the show.

Well I best go get organised so I can be ready to join the queue for the bloodwork

Have a wonderful evening all

Shirley

To counter Diane O?s 17? of snow....

this is why it?s so damned expensive to live in California! Our view from the parking lot while running errands.
