Not self-centered at all! You have a lot going on. I know people think of spinach as having a lot of iron, but molasses does too apparently. That's what my mother said when she needed more iron so she thought oatmeal cookies with molasses were a good choice (they actually are if made healthy). Here is a recipe I found online (I've never made these though): http://chicholistique.com/high-iron-oatmeal-molasses-cookies /.

As to slow service at pharmacies, if you haven't seen Grace and Frankie it is a hoot. One of the episodes this season includes segments on slow pharmacy service. I've had a lot of issues lately myself especially at home so I don't know if they are having problems getting help or if the chains have cut the number of people to increase profit?

Regardless, I'm glad DH is home!

Diane, I'm soooo glad DH is home. I bet you're both glad to make the hospital-to-home transition. I also know this has been hard on you, but at least it sounds like he's doing pretty well for what he's been through.

I don't know a lot about iron-rich foods -- I just take iron pills. When my iron was low last year, that did the trick for me. I say, have him pop a pill. :)

BTW, you are NOT self-centered at all. You never have been. You've got a lot going on, and we want to know as much as you are willing to type about it.

Big hug to you!

Thanks for all the nice comments on my picture! You all made my day...

Today was errands and a pedicure. I have found my travel anxiety manifests in last minute shopping for things I don't really need. New undies and bras, makeup, socks, packing cubes, vitamins, drugstore paraphernalia... plus all my shopping yesterday. At least I balance this by rarely buying any souvenirs while on vacation!

Trainer early tomorrow, then taking Ferg to my dad's. And packing, packing, packing. Then worrying, worrying, worrying about getting up and Ubered to the airport Tuesday before the crack!

And what am I doing right now with my time? Binge-watching You on Netflix. Creepy!

Cecily -- as much as I travel, I also have packing anxiety. Not enough to take drugs for it (well, maybe a glass of wine), but enough to keep me from getting enough sleep for several nights before The Big Departure.

Looking forward to hearing about your luxe cruise. That's a great cruise line you're going on (Crystal, right?).
