Yesterday I promised to be sanguine about an expected higher number on the scales after eating more recently, and there it is. So sanguine I must be. :)
Today will be an exercise trifecta--walking through Audubon Park to the new gym where I'll lift weights and do an Aquarobics class in the natatorium (I'm fascinated by that word).
Otherwise, I think it'll be a quiet day, since my friend is flying home after a biz trip and nothing social has been scheduled for tonight. :)
Today's theme: Begin anew. :)

Weight 123.4, calories 1544 and again included wine whigh led to some cookies. We are eating at home the next few nights so I can return to proper eating.
I got the air fryer that Diane recommended from Amazon yesterday! We are going to get some fish today to try in it. You mentioned using buttermilk and whole wheat panko. Do you put any other seasoning on the fish?
We had dinner out with the cousins at a beachfront place yesterday (hence the wine). DH was fairly social though the rest of the day he seemed sleepy and in slow motion. In retrospect, I think the Namenda made him more alert and not as sleepy, but instead of translating to better thinking it made him more edgy and restless.
So today I have a mini project in my lanai and maybe some pool time (high 78 today and 79 tomorrow before we return back to the mid 60's).
Have a fine Friday!

Penzy's Foxpoint on just about all poultry and vegetables, along with pepper. Depending on the fish, I may use additional seasonings ( i.e. shell fish, paprika). I use powdered buttermilk, so I can mix up what I need and not have a carton hanging around.
Enjoy !!

I really enjoyed getting the remainder of the bags of pellets from the garage to the basement, and once delivered, we'll move the next ton from the edge of the garage to the back, so we can park both cars. Snow blower and generator all gassed up. Snow pants, long thermal underwear, ski masks laundered. Several days of meals prepped and ready to be warmed. We're looking at 20"-24" of fresh snow Saturday afternoon into Sunday afternoon, on top of the two we got today.
My PCP called late yesterday, and my potassium is very low. I have to run to the pharmacy to pick up the two tablets he wants me to take, then bloodwork repeated in two weeks. My mammo was interesting... new 3D machine I'd never experienced before. It is supposed to cut down on the false negatives and call backs. Remember the days they needed two shots per breast to get the whole lobe in ?
I could NEVER fast sixteen hours, which is what I ended up doing yesterday. By bloodwork was scheduled for 9:45 AM, and they didn't take me until 10:30. (Note to self... ALWAYS take the earliest appointment). I was climbing the walls ! I tried all of the self talk like you're really not going to starve to death.. hunger doesn't hurt you.. . Nope, those hangry voices didn't buy it !

I do remember the two shots per boob days. The first post wls mammogram, the technician came to tell me I was clear (was referred because of a lump, and this clinic reads it right then, very humane), then looked at me quizzically, and said, have you lost a lot of weight? Your previous screening looks a lot different.
Oh, yeah! I had that conversation several times. In fact, my tits looked so different after losing 100 pounds I had to endure every-6-months mammos for a while.
That's all over now. Knock on wood!

Good Morning from the WB(whine bag)...Me!
Not much going on in my world...living vicariously through all your adventures until I can make some of my own.
I am so much in many ways ...however, I'm not sleeping well due to restless legs. I've not experienced this before. It's reared it's ugly head after this surgery! I've icing, heating, massaging, walking,...the only relief I get is if I take a pain pill. I'll discuss this with the doctor as his nurse has been less than helpful. It took her three days to call me back!! I also had an grouchy incicion and my BP was up. They took me off my meds because my BP tanked. I wanted the okay to go back on my BP meds. I took them after she didn't call me back the first day. BP was consistency around 150/99 for the past several days. She acted like I should have been able to resume all meds after surgery. She didn't read my file! The doctor told me not to resume because my BP tanked in the hospital! And, She's never heard of RSL after surgery. Suggested I take a muscle relaxer but they did not help and follow up with my primary doctor. I don't want to follow up with my primary. I want them to address it. Is that unreasonable? I have no problem going to sleep but wake up after a couple of hours and cannot get comfortable. So frustrating!!! Anyone experience RLS? This too shall pass!
DH has a basketball game tonight. The jazz band is playing. I'm getting together with friends for dinner.
Peace and strength to all.
She sounds exactly like a surgical nurse. In my experience, their interest in after-surgery care can be even lower than surgeons'. And many have a very nasty manner that (for nurses) is quite odd.
Others' mileage may vary.
