Happy New Year!
I enter 2019 with optimism and gratitude. Right now I'm so grateful to have ds with us during January break and to witness his good mood and enthusiasm. I think he is really looking forward to graduating this spring, he likes to work, and is a great employee, his bosses always love him. Being a student is difficult for him. He likes to learn, and is always seeking out new information and perspectives, but formal class work, not so much. But he'll get through one more semester and has a bright future ahead of him.
My lunch is packed, with lots of delicious, whole foods. I have a yummy vegetable ham soup I made with the left over Christmas ham bone, some nice honeycrisp apples, Greek yogurt and walnuts, cottage cheese and blueberries. I'm looking forward to all of it, and how good I feel when I eat good food.

Ha, Peps! Great resolution!
Weight ??
I had a nice new years at my dad's. We had very buttery Maine lobster tails, champagne, and Graeter's ice cream. So probably for the best that I didn't have access to a scale today!
I had lunch with my friends today at the mall and bought a couple pairs of new Lululemon pants. They have numerical sizing. How do you know what size is right when the pants are very stretchy? The 8s felt fine, but I didn't know so I bent over in the dessing room and peered through my legs in the mirror to see if they went see-through in the rear. Bet if they have cameras in the dressing room they had a laugh at that!
Anyway, that's all I know. Hoping tomorrow is warmer and less windy than today. It was gorgeous, but didn't get out of the 50s. Very unCaliforniaish.
