About whole day ruined syndrome....this happens at work, too....really all sorts of situations. Besides not fully completing MFP yesterday, this morning I decided to eat breakfast at the house rather than fast thru the hike. (Fasting during endurance is another training recommendation)
During my 4 hour hike, I had plenty of time to think about it.....this is all just optional. And combining the macro switch with a fasted hike was likely too much, anyway. Really, who cares? (I asked the trees....)
In this case, added-sugar wasn't involved at all so I didn't have those chemical shennanigans messing with my brain.
Crackers vs sweets: Sweets truly make me feel physically worse. (I want more, anyway.) Crackers really don't make me feel physically worse. I think ;) was on to something when she once commented that I might be treating GERD with pretzels. I should try a ranitidine instead, but so far I haven't.
