Peps- your ornaments arrangement on the tree is outstanding. Santa is obviously- wearing years of love- very special, indeed.

Christmas tea here with family today. All ready to go!

DS1 is hosting the Christmas Eve dinner this year. It will be the first time that I have not had that pleasure/task in 34 years. Will feel a bit strange, but am delighted to pass the tradition on.

Off to wrap a few presents-

Live (each moment) today like the true gift it is !

Greetings Holiday Decorators

153.5 today. Steak last nite - a bit of a nice juicy rib eye. No more thin steaks for me. I want a thick one even if its only 2 square inches.

Peps your decorations get an A+. Ditto Cecily and everyone else who has posted. Liz yours will be great too. I am a Christmas sponge enjoying the decorations of others but doing so little of my own.

I got motivated last night and sorted and threw out a whole bunch of papers. I can't find the sales tax folder for one gallery and was hunting for it. No luck.

Gallery duty this afternoon and again Christmas Eve. Since I don't have kids I am ok with it. But I am worried today as I need to do a bank deposit and hate walking out in the dark with a lot of cash. My co worker today is a young man (ok 45) so maybe he will walk with me. Huge sales day yesterday and I bet its equally busy today. Plus we offer gift wrap (which I totally hate doing) so it slows us down. I'd rather do the sales.

I did some shopping. Will post a picture of this cool bag I found at the plant store. And I got the chicken livers and containers for pate plus cheese crisps.

Hey did you all hear the news? - Americans are getting even fatter? Duh. No end in sight. Thank god for vsg.

DH might be getting my cold which is sad. No scheduling on his surgery yet but I bet its pretty quick after the new year.

Hope everyone is feeling merry and bright. Stay away from those holes. Its ok to cocoon once in awhile but caves and holes are for bear and badgers. Diane S

Well done, Peps! When you get down to business you don't mess around!

Weight 176.6 Not sure how I dropped nearly 3 pounds overnight, but it must have a dehydration component because no one is that lucky!

Today I must brave some stores to finish up stocking stuffers. Why I saved a trip to Target until the weekend right before Christmas is a sad mystery.

It's another beautiful day, so maybe some activity would be good too. A walk perhaps outside of my Fergus walks which hardly count as walks because he is the slowest sniffer known to dog (is that the doggie version of "known to man"? Or is it "known to canine"?).

Okay, off I go. Times a-wastin'.

Hey Liz, pm me an address and I will try to get one to you. Its at a very near store and they are only about 7 bucks! The only worry is if they have any left. They also have pig and cow ones but they are not so cool. Diane

Stunning tree Devon!

No weight today but I have pretty consistently been between 133 and 135 for quite a while! I'm happy enough with that range. Have not tracked foods, calories or exercise in forever. Sometimes make great choices and sometimes don't but I guess overall pretty healthy.

DS#3 and I are visiting my parents and brother and his wife this weekend. His request to do so over the Christmas break so I am happy to oblige. He rarely asks to spend time with me so it is sweet time for me as well. He has bonded with my brother a bit and could probably use a bit of a father figure right now, especially with the Holidays looming.

The 3 boys and I will spend Christmas Eve by ourselves celebrating in our usual fashion. I will do Kevin's side of the family with him next weekend (his turn to host it) and then just he and I will spend New Year's Eve away at a bed and breakfast and attend a NYE party at a nearby restaurant/bar with live music!

Happy Holidays to all of you!

Good Afternoon...peeking my head in to say hello and send healing prayers to all who need them. Trying myself not to slip into the pit of darkness. It helps to surround myself with people who love and encourage me. Trying not to focus on the things I can't do yet, but the things I can.

Andy will be gone a few hours today to enjoy Christmas with his family. I'm staying in...not yet ready to travel. My parents are coming to sit with me as my mother would not hear of me staying by myself.

We didn't decorate much this year. Love seeing all your decorations. I, too, have favorite ornaments and love getting them out and reminiscing.

Hope everyone practices some self care today...staying in pj's seems like a great idea!
