Hope your travel day is going well, Liz. Travel stresses me out even just managing myself!

Greetings Holiday Elves

153.5 today. Had an awful night last night coughing and oozing. Better this morning. Even so I am taking steps to get rid of activities. DH is picking up studio payroll. Gallery meeting tonight at which I am supposed to give treasurers report but I may dump it off on someone else.

Liz hope your travels went well. Yep Justice is a therapy dog. For all of us.

Whew, everyone is doing so much Christmas planning that I feel like a complete slug. Since we don't have family around here anymore there is just not that much to do. Just as well. Peps I hear ya on not feeling like doing much. If you have family over maybe they can all bring stuff.

Interesting to read about all the cousins and Christmas. My dad was an only child and my mother's only brother was killed in WW2 so I have no cousins. DH has a pretty fun family and they are now slowly migrating to LA area but I sure don't want to live there. Have been wishing my niece and her kid were closer for holidays. Time to plan some trips.

Housekeeper comes in two hours which should be about enough time to complete the precleaning. How do two people and two small dogs make such a gawd awful mess.

Those of you with partners who are "bagged", any idea when the bags will be shed? It would be a nice Christmas present for bags to exit.

Hey Shirl, the fun chums look great. It is indeed good to have lifelong friends.

LOL Cecily, your Jewish friend wants to come over and decorate for you!! Thats a true friend.

Well I hope this post isn't eaten. Internet was flakey earlier. Diane S

My RR is going in to get the catheter changed today for another 4 weeks on the bag. Then after 4 weeks, he will have it removed and will be given a catheter free day to see what happens. If he doesn't pee by himself during the eight odd hours he's without the catheter and bag, he will be bagged for another 2 months. If at the end of that final 2 months he is still not able to eliminate on his own, he will be scheduled for surgery to "unclog" the passageway.

I am insisting he up his insurance level, too. At 67 he should have the Cadillac plan like I do. I asked that he up his insurance grade after his emergency hernia repair, but of course he didn't. He's supposed to take care of that today. Fingers crossed he does.

My brothers birthday is 12/27. My mother always did a big party for him to make sure he had a separate celebration. I remember thinking that he got more presents/celebration sometimes because of that (LOL). Of course over the years, Christmas and his Birthday did mostly merge.
