Well, I now have more crowns than molars ! Another milestone in the rite of passage called aging ! My temporary is comfortable, so I can't complain. Things warmed up yesterday and I was able to rake up some of the leaves in the front yard that had been driving me crazy under the snow, which is temporarily gone. I really do enjoy outside work, although what Shirl is facing down under would daunt even me ! Liz, when our water bill in the old house doubled, it turns out one of our toilets had a bad flapper valve, which caused water to run non stop. Ann, sorry about the cancellation of your procedure, but infections are nothing to mess with. It sounds like you have a good attitude moving forward ! You also got me thinking about identifying and letting go of intentions/practices that may no longer be serving me. Sitting in the dental chair listening to a fabulous mix of music reactivated my intention to include more music in my life on a daily basis. Diane, thanks for pulling together all of our "every choice is a fresh start" thoughts with the caveat that nothing is ever set in stone. Modifying and adjusting are valuable maintenance skills.

I sewed bells on the top and fur on the bottom of a red Puppia vest. He's pretty comfortable in it even though it took him a while to adjust to the jingle jingle (he kept looking back to see what it was). I also sewed lights on a green leash for nighttime...

I, too, am a member of the more crowns club. The last one I had was actually a fun experience in that the crown was computer generated on site, and I got to watch it as it was manufactured. Really cool- also eliminated the need for a temporary.
Reactivating behaviors is a good thing to think about. There are activities that I have formerly enjoyed that somehow dropped out of site-out of mind. Now, what were they and what activities do I spend time in that no longer serve a joyful purpose--Food for thought- thanks again, Diane. Love the tasks you propose--sort of like presenting a good lesson plan. School me all you want!

I am at Pike Place market celebrating my 4 year surgiversary appt. I missed last year's appts and full lab panel. Heavy sigh. Doc, of course, was gracious and "not concerned with VSG pt". Because of another issue, my PTH and calcium are monitored thru another specialty, so I know those are ok. I am looking forward to seeing the rest.
Just had a seafood scramble that came with obligatory hash browns and toast that I didn't remember to sub out. Had a bite of each....neither was nearly as good I remembered. What a relief. The scramble was fab. Now overfull. I am not yet a VSG master. Chronic medical problem for sure.
I will post a pic in a moment. WA ferry is on the move
