Greetings Marvelous Maintainers
Well not maintaining well today. Up to 155. Not cool. Its wine and peanuts I need to omit. And probably cheese cut back needed. I eat cheese sticks for lunch because its easy at the studio. Need to go back to jerky which is also easy. Just got sick of it.
DianeO cool that OH wants to profile you. You are an excellent candidate as a success story. And glad your self care includes ways to have DC be more independent. Also glad he is improving. You are a natural nurturer.
BB get well soon. Glad DH will be home to help.
I sure love hearing about everyones adventures. Here is my adventure: yesterday my missing fitbit was found! Unfortunately it was found by our house cleaner via the vacuum cleaner! It was under my desk and got sucked up. Its beat up but appears to work. So I am going to wear both my old and new fitbit at the same time to see if they get the same number. (so like what will I do if they don't match?)
Its a calm and sunny day here though there are ocean warnings about unusually big waves. A college student was lost after being washed away by big waves on the north jetty a few months back. This place ain't no San Diego beach. 2 minutes to hypothermia.
So I have a couple of free days to enjoy before holiday madness sets in next week. Dr. apt, working a gallery shift for friend in need, Studio board meeting, special private party at gallery, more gallery duty, special attention to gallery funds due to high sales season, vet appointment and on and on. How did I ever have a real job?
I started making the bigfoot raking leaves yesterday. Going to be a challenge balancing it to stand upright. Bonnie150 glad you are back to the clay studio.
Found a fun Christmas gift for a friend: its a ceramic mug that is made to look like an orange prescription bottle and say Rx: coffee taken first thing in morning and repeat as needed, complete with warnings and such. Gift to another coffee addict. Found at Bed Bath and Beyond.
Cheers all. Diane S
Weight is neath up nor down. Not doing much to reduce so what do I expect? I know I do better when I am able to stay busy. I made a couple of things in the shop that were at the 8 pound limit. I made a roll around holder for my iPad and a wooden bench vise.
Cooking leftover pumpkins today to add to dog food. Our little dog needs it to keep him regular.
Baby sitting for Adalyn while DD either goes to class or studies for her class. She was accepted into the nursing program. The math class that she is taking was to get her geared up to be in the study mode. I was going to help her but quickly found out that I was going to have to start at the beginning of the book if I was going to help her any. I think she takes her final today. Adalyn is just now starting to sleep more than 3 hours at a time. Maybe wakes once a night but gets up early. She does not talk much at all. She will be 1 in a week. I sing to her and she claps for me. She melts my heart.
We are supposed to get snow here. I hope not. Power usually goes out with very much weather.
More later, David

Diane, your nails will be cosmically nummy- use the power endowed by them to spread true red and holly green lightening bolts!
Am returned today from follow up appt. with surgeon at KUMed. Final pathology report in and no cancer. I am released to my local primary care doctor and endocrinologist. Cat scan in 6 months to monitor what are deemed true "freckles" on the remaining part of the pancreas for changes (unlike the IPMN's in the head, these have made no changes and are expected to remain so.) Will scan every 2 years after. All good news.
Stephanie- I will be surely thinking of you next Tuesday as you're transformed into the Amazing Bionic (hips any ways) Wonder Woman.
I like the intention of "embrace the new normal". My current take on that theme is find the new normal. Guess I'll go look. Enjoy the day.
